Li Donglin was delighted after receiving the call!
Although several people mentioned having some clues yesterday, none reported to Li Donglin whether they could catch anyone. Surprisingly, today they managed to connect the clues together and found the trail of the suspect Zhao Xue, and even carried out the arrest.
Now, we're just waiting for Lu Chuan to analyze the collected blood samples. If it matches with the deceased Wang Dezhi's blood, then Zhao Xue can be identified as the suspect.
After hanging up, Li Donglin immediately made a call to his superiors.
With two days remaining until the major event, the leadership is highly concerned about this case. Now that the case is almost solved, Li Donglin can give a brief report to higher-ups.
This serves to reassure them; later, a police communiqué will need to be issued to announce the case has been solved.
