Lu Chuan took a deep breath the first time he saw the case file.
The main reason was that the criminal methods in this case were especially cruel; the perpetrator had performed special treatment on the body after the murder.
"Everyone, familiarize yourselves with the basic details of the case. The case was discovered yesterday, and due to the unusual circumstances at the scene, the provincial department has asked our major crimes unit to intervene directly."
Li Donglin frowned deeply, his tone extremely serious. This case was personally ordered for immediate intervention by the director of the provincial public security department, with the requirement for a rapid investigation.
Originally, the case should have been handled by the criminal investigation team of the provincial capital's public security bureau, as it occurred in the provincial capital. However, due to a major hosting event in the city, failing to resolve the case promptly could impact the event.
