The driver slammed on the brakes and stopped in the middle of the road.

Behind them, several vehicles slammed on their horns furiously because of the taxi driver's sudden stop. Just as they were about to roll down their windows and curse, they saw the positions of the two people, their faces filled with curiosity and surprise.
"What, what do you want? Please put the knife down! Don't kill me!"
The driver pleaded fearfully, raising both hands towards the sun visor on the roof, his hands away from the steering wheel.
