Of course, under the attention of the Taiyue Divine Venerable, it wasn't directly absorbing the flesh energy of the widespread giant hand but simply covering the whole palm along the flesh, meridians and bones.
At an extremely fast speed, it directly covered the entire giant hand, and eventually, the Devouring Mother Tree deeply took root within, slowly filling the whole hand like tendrils.
The extended roots penetrated the flesh and bones of the giant hand without obstruction, until they completely merged into one, becoming a whole.
The reason Taiyue Divine Venerable did this was because the primordial power of the widespread giant hand was too strong and cohesive, making it difficult to absorb and transform the contained flesh energy even beyond the Void realm.
For Zheng Yi, he had better uses for it.
Thus, under the control of the Taiyue Divine Venerable, the widespread giant hand was infiltrated by the Devouring Mother Tree, ultimately becoming the master of this hand.
