Li Family Mansion, in the tea room, Lu Xin waited anxiously for the butler Li Ping's response, so much so that she didn't even notice the tea in front of her had gone cold.
Finally, Li Ping's footsteps sounded from outside the courtyard, and Lu Xin breathed a sigh of relief. She picked up the teacup and took a sip, but the terrible taste made her furrow her brows.
"Madam, I just asked people from the association. They said... the young lady still hasn't taken the second batch of tasks."
