Adrian Law and Cecilia Vaughn had just finished dinner, and the man held the girl's hand, a doting smile playing on his lips.
"Cecilia, your school's food isn't bad."
Cecilia pulled a face at him.
"Of course! Although it's still not as good as yours, it's way better than the restaurants outside, and the price is very reasonable! Ever since I married you and went to Stellerton University, I feel like I've gained twenty pounds in a year."
Adrian stared at Cecilia's slender waist, then at her bony shoulders, and couldn't help but shake his head.
"Gained weight? Girls are cuter with a little more weight, you should eat more."
"No! I want to lose weight!"
Cecilia's face showed an expression of deep humiliation. How could she tell Adrian that she secretly weighed herself every day, and the saddest part was that Adrian hadn't changed at all, but she had indeed gained about fifteen pounds.
Now it's winter, and the fat is easier to hide, but when summer comes, what a tragedy!
