Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: I'll Take You Somewhere Private

This kind of occasion is extremely important to the Sutton Family.

Mr. and Mrs. Sutton are both business people, and this is an important social gathering.

As the car drove halfway up the mountain, countless luxury cars almost occupied the huge parking lot of the Ford Family. Guided by the Ford Family's bodyguards, the car was parked in a suitable spot, and Mrs. Sutton said, "Zia, your dad and I are going to see Old Mr. Ford. You take your sister and don't wander around."

Old Mr. Ford is old, forgets many people, and enjoys peace and quiet.

On a big day like today, the Ford Family only allowed these connected business people to come over and say hello; the younger generation wasn't necessary.

Zia quickly nodded, "Mom, Dad, go ahead. I'll take good care of my sister."

Mr. and Mrs. Sutton also instructed Thea Shaw, "Thea, don't be afraid. Just stay with your brother."

Thea nodded obediently.

Mrs. Sutton was not at ease with her daughter in such a setting, deciding to return right after meeting Old Mr. Ford.

Once the parents left, Zia noticed that as soon as Thea got out of the car, the well-trained Ford Family bodyguard leading the way looked at Thea and was stunned.

Indeed, the fairy's charm was powerful.

Thea's skin was fair, dressed in a fairy-like dress, revealing her long swan neck.

Bathed in a soft glow, as soon as she stepped out of the car, she seemed to carry her own spotlight, glowing white, attracting attention effortlessly.

Several young gentlemen getting out of the car beside her were dumbfounded.

A completely different style from others.

In an inappropriate metaphor, Zia felt that in this night scene, Thea seemed to carry her own light source, always standing apart from others.

Moreover, she held her back straight, exuding an otherworldly aura, like in the dim night, she's the one you would see at first glance.

Thea was already accustomed to such attention, after all, being one of the Great National Master candidates, she had seen all sorts of scenarios.

Even the Empress of the Women's Respect Country with such a strong aura, she could handle with ease.

No big deal!

Her gaze naturally swept around, not looking for anything else, just checking if there were any indecent men around—cough, meaning if anyone was dressed in a way temporarily unacceptable to her.

She had just returned from the Women's Respect Country, understandable, right?

Seeing his sister showing no timidity, Zia felt all the more that she shone, handling such a situation so effortlessly.

Noticing people's gazes around them, he instinctively didn't want his sister to stand out too much—not unwilling, but because it could bring a lot of trouble, knowing full well what kind of people some of these young gentlemen were. So, Zia whispered to Thea beside him, "Sister, there are too many people here. Let me take you to a secluded spot."

He had come to the Ford Family mansion a few times and was well aware of where not to go and where he could. The place was large enough to find one or two quiet spots where no one paid attention.

Thea was more than happy about it, as she wasn't in the mood to meet too many people right now and followed him away.

Zia did find a quiet place.

Facing halfway up the mountain, the bright moon hung in the sky, a clear spring shimmered under the crescent moon's reflection, and next to the spring, a tree was planted.

The only regret was that it was close to the cliff, a small area near the back courtyard of the Ford Family. There wasn't much room to stand, surrounded by a layer of railing, presumably to prevent anyone from falling down the mountain.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

When Zia found this place, he was quite pleased, not having even told Aurora about it, and just brought Thea along.

Thea admired, "It's indeed beautiful."

Having seen many beautiful sceneries, this indeed was pretty.

Just as she finished speaking, she heard a slightly hostile laugh, "Pretty bold, finding a place even here."
