Maeve Lane lowered her head for a moment, and the woman turned her head, meeting Sarah Sutton's gaze.
Sarah smiled politely, and the woman smiled back, her eyes filled with an indescribable, aloof arrogance.
"Is that the investor and author? Director Osborne is sitting next to her and seems very respectful." Sarah speculated.
Director Osborne's assistant didn't go in; he sat by the door. "Are you talking about the woman in red in the middle?"
Sarah nodded.
Maeve glanced up, filled with curiosity about her as well.
"That's Ms. Roland. When you go in for the audition, that's how you should address her." The assistant paused for a few seconds and said, "She's the author of 'Southern Mountain,' a bestselling author of print books, and just recently ranked sixth on the global author rich list."
"So impressive." Maeve thought she looked quite young just now.
