Xu Ying: "Everyone, guess why the Golden Eagle wears an eye mask?"
Barrage comments floated by with strange guesses:
[...To look cool?]
[To cosplay as a Pirate of the Caribbean?]
[Because the snow on the Snow Mountain can easily cause snow blindness?]
Yao Yingzhe hesitated to speak; the question obviously exceeded his knowledge reserve.
"Golden Eagles are visual raptors," Xu Ying gently stroked the eagle's wings and revealed the answer: "Their vision reaches 360 degrees, meaning they're always on high alert."
She fastened the eye mask tightly, "Covering their sight helps the Golden Eagles calm down faster, reducing unnecessary energy consumption."
Netizens suddenly understood: [So that's what 'out of sight, out of mind' means.]
[The eye mask is like its energy-saving mode switch.]
[I get it! An eye mask is like a seal; taking it off directly activates battle mode! It's just like the effect of a tightening curse!]
[What? 300-degree vision? Come to my house as surveillance!]
