Minister Zhang Guzhi of the Ministry of Personnel is Zhang Jiao Jiao's father.
This Minister of the Ministry of Personnel is famously stubborn. The Ministry indeed has lucrative benefits, yet he is recognized as the epitome of integrity, adhering to rules and evidence, always obedient to imperial decrees, earning him the nickname "Zhang Guzhi" (Zhang the Stubborn) in official circles.
Not only is Zhang Guzhi like this, but his legitimate son is the same.
Zhang Guzhi's eldest legitimate son, who is Zhang Jiao Jiao's elder brother, is named Zhang Qin. He chose martial paths over literary ones and has already made a name for himself in the military.
As for Zhang Guzhi's second legitimate son, Zhang Tian, he is close in age to Zhang Jiao Jiao but equally talented in both fields, currently preparing for next year's imperial exams.
With Minister Zhang and General Zhang around, Zhang Jiao Jiao having special treatment in the palace is understandable.
