"Rhys." Kellen started, his voice soft. Rhys growled.
"No, Kellen." He was firm in his words and Kellen felt his lips curl up slightly.
"Rhys." Kellen said again, his voice dipping into a soft, seductive area. Rhys growled.
"No. I will not be seduced. This is too dangerous. You could die." Rhys wasn't budging, at least by his tone of voice. However, as Kellen ran his fingers tentatively, carefully down his spine, he tensed up. "Kellen." He warned and Kellen gave a soft laugh.
"How is this any more dangerous than anything else we tried? You're only scared because we've gotten back into old habits. However, Rhys, this could be our step forward. My step forward. This could potentially heal Gwen and the others." Kellen kept his voice soft, sweet. Rhys' breath came out in a huff.
"Sure. That could happen. Or you could go into shock and you're asleep like the rest of them." Rhys told him and Kellen felt his chest tighten.
