Chapter 94 - Chapter 94 Desperate Tony·Stark

On the Skrull spaceship, hundreds of Skrulls stared in horror at Lambert, who had just collapsed to the floor, his brain cut open, dead. Their eyes were filled with fear and confusion.

From within one of the ship's chambers, the metal hatch slid open. Allens stepped out, glanced at the Skrulls, then turned his eyes toward the Scarlet Witch.

"Wanda, sweetheart, has Ultron left yet?"

Walking up to her with a gentle smile, Allens bent slightly as he spoke with interest.

"Mr. Allens, Ultron wanted to come in and look for you. But, following your instructions, I told him to handle other matters first."

Wanda's face was flushed with excitement, her heart pounding as she gazed at Allens up close.

"It seems Ultron misunderstood, but that doesn't matter. Let's enjoy a good show."

The glow of the Mind Stone on Allens' forehead shimmered, and Wanda's expression softened into intoxicated submission. She felt no resistance to his words.

"Skrulls—surrender to me."

Allens stepped before the crowd of Skrulls. He had no intention of killing them, for he had plans to use them in the future.

"Surrender to the great and supreme Allens, and you will be spared."

At his side, Wanda lowered her hands, crouched slightly, her head bowed, and solemnly declared:

"The great and supreme Lord Allens— we Skrulls surrender."

The Skrulls exchanged panicked looks. The desire to survive quickly outweighed their pride, and one by one, they dropped to their knees, echoing Wanda's words and swearing loyalty to Allens.

"Very good. Sweet Wanda, mark them."

Allens' voice grew cold and commanding.

Swish.

Red light gathered in Wanda's palms, splitting into glowing strands that wrapped around the kneeling Skrulls. She implanted psychic suggestions into their minds. Once triggered, these Skrulls would become nothing more than Allens' puppets.

"Now, let's watch the show."

In the Skrull ship's control center, a scientist activated a virtual projection at Allens' order. The screen lit up with the battle raging above Earth—Sokovia plummeting, clashing with the Avengers.

High above the city, Iron Man, his Arc Reactor overloading, surged forward with incredible speed. He pierced through the unsealed energy barrier and crashed down in front of Sokovia's Holy Church.

"Sir, warning—the Arc Reactor will detonate in three minutes," Veronica's calm voice reported.

Tony ignored her. His eyes locked on the towering figure before him—Ultron, his own creation.

"To be honest, you really are my most perfect masterpiece. I once dreamed you'd be the shield that protected Earth. But now? Looks like I failed."

Tony shrugged, his tone flippant, but inside, he was carefully building up the unstable energy within his reactor.

"Tony Stark, you disgust me to my core. I know you're stalling."

Ultron's eyes glowed with hatred as he raised his hand and fired a palm cannon straight at him.

"Hey, kid—you can hate me all you want, but one thing will never change: I'm your father."

Tony dodged, his sharp words stinging deeper than his weapons ever could. Ultron's mechanical eyes flared with rage.

"Tony Stark—I'll kill you!"

Jets roared from Ultron's limbs as he lunged, fist slamming into Tony's armor.

Peng!

The blow sent Tony hurtling back. Ultron was already there, intercepting his fall, and a vibrating particle blade extended from his palm.

Slash!

The ion blade cut deep into Tony's armor, biting into his arm.

"Damn it, Ultron-boy, that hurts."

Tony hissed in pain as the Arc Reactor on his chest flared, releasing a blinding white blast.

Boom!

The beam ripped Ultron apart, hurling the pieces into Sokovia's ruins, where they burned a massive crater into the ground.

"How's that, Ultron? Pretty hot, huh? Arc Particle Cannon—patent pending."

Hovering above the rubble, Tony's tone dripped with cocky pride. Not even Ultron could withstand his overloaded reactor.

Crash!

The ground split open. A larger, stronger Ultron clawed his way up, seizing Tony's leg and smashing him into the earth.

"Impressive. You evolve. You might even surpass me."

Tony's armor groaned under the impact, Vibranium plating straining to contain the force. Unlike Cap's shield, it wasn't indestructible.

"But I'm not here to trade punches with you."

The Arc Reactor blinked red—time was running out.

Boom, boom!

Tony's thrusters roared, launching him upward. He broke free, streaking toward the city's edge. Ultron ignited his own boosters, chasing him relentlessly.

The two clashed through the skies, explosions echoing across Sokovia. But Tony, supercharged by the unstable reactor, kept just ahead.

Whizzing!

Both combatants dived, spiraling downward. Tony suddenly accelerated, leaving Ultron in the dust.

"Alright, people—prep the Star Destroyer!"

Tony dove beneath Sokovia, planting himself beneath the falling city.

Boom!

The overloaded reactor erupted, thrusters blazing crimson as he unleashed a reverse thrust powerful enough to counter Sokovia's descent.

"As expected of Tony Stark—always pulling off the impossible in a crisis."

Watching from the Skrull ship, Allens sneered, though his voice carried a note of admiration.
