Chapter 181 - 《DXD: Multiverse Journey》Chapter 181: Bullying Little Kotori, Identities Exposed!

The front door to the three-story house in Tengu City swung open. Shuo Nangong stepped inside, Honjo Nia trailing behind him in a worn puffer jacket and faded jeans.

"I'm home," Shuo called out.

"Drop dead, you pervert!!!"

Before he could even take off his shoes, Kotori Itsuka came flying at him—literally—her foot aimed straight for his chest.

Shuo didn't even flinch. With a flick of telekinesis, he caught Kotori mid-air, plucked her out of her flying kick, and plopped down onto the sofa, laying her face-down across his lap.

"Still haven't learned your lesson, huh?"

He grinned, voice wicked. "Time for a little punishment, Kotori."

His hands moved with theatrical flourish. A flash of light—

And in an instant, Kotori's clothes disintegrated into shimmering particles, leaving her in nothing but a blue-and-white bra and panties.

"What the—?!"

Kotori's face went crimson, ears burning. Nearly naked, she squirmed in his grip, panic and humiliation warring on her face.

"My clothes! My pants! Give them back!"

She thrashed, but Shuo's psychic hold was unyielding. Without warning, he delivered a sharp smack to her behind.

"Ow! Ow—stop it!"

Across the room, Nia's blue eyes sparkled with mischief. She watched the scene unfold, clicking her tongue in admiration.

"This angle… this scenario… way too spicy! Pure inspiration! I have to remember every detail—this'll make a killer manga panel!"

"What are you two doing?!"

A shocked voice cut through the chaos. Shiori stood frozen in the doorway, hands clapped over her mouth, eyes wide with disbelief.

Shuo froze, hand mid-air. Kotori, still sprawled across his lap, whimpered, "Let me go!"

He glanced down—tears shimmered at the corners of Kotori's eyes.

Crying?

Guilt stabbed through him. He instantly released Kotori and, with a snap, reconstructed her clothes.

Freed, Kotori scrambled away, furiously wiping her eyes. She glared daggers at Shuo from across the room.

He raised his hands in surrender. "Hey, not my fault! You're the one who attacked me."

He hesitated, then added, "Okay, maybe I went a little overboard. Sorry, Kotori."

Making a cute little loli cry… that's just criminal.

Kotori, still fuming, chomped her lollipop in half with a vengeance.

First time being bullied to tears.

First time being spanked, pantsless, in front of her own sister.

The humiliation was enough to make her want to crawl under a rock and die.

Awkward silence settled over the living room. Shuo's own embarrassment was palpable—caught red-handed teasing Kotori, and by her sister no less.

"Uh… why don't we all sit down and talk?"

Kotori opened her mouth to retort, but the memory of what just happened made her cheeks flare even redder. She turned away, refusing to meet Shuo's eyes.

"Hmph! Lolicon. Pervert."

Eventually, the four of them took seats. Shuo, eager to change the subject, gave a quick rundown of Nia's situation.

"A nun? The Second Spirit?"

Kotori and Shiori's faces both went slack with shock.

They glanced at Nia, who was now chugging beer like it was water, cheeks flushed from the alcohol.

This was the infamous 'Sister'—the Second Spirit?

She looked more like a shut-in otaku than anything remotely supernatural.

As the truth sank in, Kotori shot Shuo a murderous glare and bit through another lollipop.

"Unbelievable! Why didn't you tell me something this huge?!"

She'd just agreed yesterday to work with Shuo to protect and seal Spirits. And now, overnight, he'd rescued and sealed another one—without breathing a word to her.

Shuo shrugged, offering a "reasonable" explanation.

"It was a special case. I found out Nia was being tortured and wanted to save her as soon as possible."

Kotori's anger deflated. Damn it, that actually made sense…

But after a moment, her red eyes narrowed, suspicion returning.

"Still, how did you know DEM had the Second Spirit? And how did you—"

"Let's stop there."

Shuo cut her off smoothly.

"If you're curious, ask Nia. I've already told her everything. Right now, I'm starving. I'll cook for everyone—let me show you what I can do!"

Kotori gawked at him, as if he'd sprouted a second head.

"You? Cook? Show us your skills?"

This was the same guy who'd forget to eat lunch and laze around all day, and now he wanted to play chef? Was he kidding?

"How dare you underestimate me!"

Shuo turned to Shiori. "Shiori, want to help out?"

"Ah, sure!"

As Shuo and Shiori headed for the kitchen, Nia finally set down her beer, a tipsy blush coloring her cheeks. She turned to Kotori, lips curled in a mischievous grin.

"Hehe, little sister, you're a Spirit too, aren't you?"

"?!"

Kotori stiffened, then quickly lowered her voice. "How do you know that?"

Nia leaned in, whispering conspiratorially.

"My Angel's power is omniscience. Anything I want to know—what's happening now, who's doing what—just not the future, but everything else? It's all at my fingertips."

She giggled, the alcohol loosening her tongue.

"Actually, that boy figured out your Spirit identity ages ago. His real identity is…"

And with that, Nia spilled everything she knew about Shuo Nangong—his origins, his power, his knowledge of their world.

Kotori's jaw dropped lower and lower as Nia rambled on.

A god from another world, who knew everything?!

That bastard—he'd claimed he just "happened" to learn about Nia, but he'd known everything from the start. Even about her.

Suddenly, Kotori remembered the "dream" Shuo had described when they first met.

So she'd been his target all along.

That perverted lolicon!

Her face burned with embarrassment and outrage.
