Chapter 89 - 《DXD: Multiverse Journey》Chapter 89: Shockwaves Across the Battlefield—Stronger Than God?! The Clash with the Two Heavenly Dragons

The Devil faction was in shambles. With so many casualties—several of them Satan-class—the Four Devil Kings looked ready to cough up blood in rage.

Yet even now, beset on all sides by overwhelming force, the Two Heavenly Dragons stood their ground, wild and unbowed. For a moment, everyone on the battlefield felt a chill crawl down their spine.

Terrifying.

Absolutely terrifying.

That's when Shuo stepped onto the field.

A surge of power swept across the warzone. Every fighter—angel, devil, fallen—froze, eyes snapping toward the newcomer with wary disbelief.

"Is that a reinforcement from God? But… why only one?"

"Maybe he's here for the dragons?"

"He feels… like a dragon himself!"

Whispers and tension. The Four Devil Kings, Azazel, every high-ranking combatant—they all braced themselves, facing Shuo with grim caution. No one could afford to ignore an unknown powerhouse appearing out of nowhere.

The loli goddess blinked in surprise at his sudden arrival, but her smile was gentle as ever.

"How'd you get here?"

Michael and Gabriel, standing at her side, both let out subtle sighs of relief. The man who'd slain Beast Emperor 666—his presence meant their Lord no longer had to shoulder everything alone.

Shuo's gaze lingered on the goddess, a complicated look flickering in his eyes.

"Saint, I'm actually here to say goodbye. My time in this world is almost up—I have to leave soon."

She hesitated, a touch of sadness in her voice, but her smile never wavered.

"I see… In that case, until we meet again."

For a long moment, Shuo said nothing. Then he exhaled, steadying himself.

"Before I go, let me take care of these Two Heavenly Dragons for you. After that, the rest is in your hands, Little Saint."

The goddess's eyes softened, her voice almost a whisper.

"Thank you. I'll leave it to you."

On the other side, devils and fallen angels stared, dumbstruck.

Since when had the God of the Bible ever spoken to anyone with such warmth? Who was this man?

But then, as Shuo's words echoed across the battlefield, the tension broke—replaced by sneers and laughter.

"Hah! He's going to take on the Two Heavenly Dragons by himself? That's rich!"

"Who does he think he is?"

"Talk about delusions of grandeur!"

Shuo ignored them. Let them laugh. Soon enough, Little Saint would show them just how wrong they were.

He strode toward the dragons. This was the first time he'd seen Albion and Ddraig in their true forms—colossal, regal, radiating raw power.

Ddraig glared down at him, unable to contain his fury.

"You arrogant brat! You think you can face us alone? Insolence!"

Albion's eyes narrowed, his voice cold as ice.

"I don't know who you are, but you've made a fatal mistake challenging the Two Heavenly Dragons. Prepare to die."

It had always been their right to look down on others. Now, someone dared look down on them? Unforgivable.

Power surged from both dragons, their auras crashing over the battlefield like a tidal wave. Even the Four Devil Kings and Azazel went pale—after all this time, the dragons still had power to spare?

Ddraig's voice was a thunderclap.

"This is what you get for mocking us! Die!"

He shot forward, a crimson blur, killing intent blazing.

Shuo didn't flinch. With a thought, the Gate of Babylon opened behind him, golden treasures firing in rapid succession—each one a legendary weapon aimed at Ddraig.

But Ddraig was fast, weaving through the barrage. With a roar, he unleashed a scarlet beam, lightning-fast, aimed straight for Shuo.

Shuo's response was calm, almost lazy—Susanoo erupted around him, an armored titan intercepting the attack. The impact detonated in a blinding explosion.

When the smoke cleared, Shuo stood untouched.

Gasps rippled across the battlefield. Even Ddraig faltered, stunned. He hadn't held back—yet Shuo hadn't even been scratched?

But Shuo's expression was unchanged, almost bored. Ddraig's fury spiked.

"You think blocking one attack makes you invincible? Don't get cocky!"

He roared, unleashing his Penetration ability—a move that bypassed any defense and struck directly at the enemy's core.

Albion joined in, summoning his Reduction (Poison) ability—his venom could erode anything living, dissolving flesh, bone, even the soul itself. Even supernatural beings weren't safe.

The dragons were in a frenzy.

Michael, watching from above, finally snapped.

"My Lord, please—let me help him!"

Even for someone as strong as Shuo, the Two Heavenly Dragons were among the world's top ten powers. Now, with both dragons berserk, Michael couldn't help but worry.

Gabriel, usually gentle, was frantic.

"Lord, if we don't act now, it'll be too late!"

The goddess turned, her voice serene as ever.

"Relax. He'll be fine. Back then, he nearly killed Beast Emperor 666 single-handedly—I only played a supporting role. The Two Heavenly Dragons can't touch him."

A stunned silence.

Michael: "…"

Gabriel: "…"

Raphael, Uriel, and every other angel: "…"

Every seraph, every angel—mouths hung open in shock. Michael finally managed to speak, his voice trembling.

"My Lord… is that really true?"

It wasn't that they didn't trust her—it was just impossible to believe. When they'd first met Shuo, they'd thought their Lord was just being kind. Now she was saying that, during the battle against Beast Emperor 666, it was Shuo who had nearly slain the monster, with her only playing backup?

Now, with the truth out, the angels could only stare at Shuo in awe and terror. Even their Lord had once said she couldn't kill Beast Emperor 666. But this man…

If that was true, Shuo's power had already surpassed even God.

The realization rippled through the ranks. Worry was replaced by pity—for the Two Heavenly Dragons.

Ddraig, Albion… you have no idea what you've just picked a fight with.
