January 28, 1641, the Victorian Era.
It's a warm, sunny day in the city of Xiphos. People are gathered around the streets, chatting to each other, walking towards their destination, and carriages roam around the streets as the horses' footsteps can be heard clearly and loudly. It's a peaceful day as always in the city of Xiphos.
Xiphos is a city filled with magic. One time it won on a magical showdown between two champions.
Meanwhile, towards the Evergreen Forrest and Hills, a mansion surrounded by small trees. Although it's an abandoned mansion, its walls and exterior stay strong like a warrior. A man can be seen in front of the large wooden doors, his clothes are tainted with jet black colors. His appearance looks like that of a traveler, searching for something valuable
He's wearing a cloak and scarf to cover his identity, the man hooded by his cloak and scarf is not just any traveler who's lost in the middle of a Forest and accidentally found the mansion, as if he clearly knows this place all along so as the way around the Evergreen Forest and the City of Xiphos.
Then, the man puts down the hood of his cloak, revealing his identity. His name is Lucien Sincraidel, and as he rubbed the mansion's nameplate, the name matches his Last name.
"It's been 16 years since I last saw this mansion of mine.. I'm surprised it's not demolished yet.." Lucien spoke, his voice cold and deep.
As he placed his palms and pushed the door open, Lucien received a wave of nostalgia and memories back when he was only a little child, running around the Forest, playing inside his room, his parents talking in the living room, all vivid to Lucien.
But all of a sudden, it all turned into a horrific, traumatic past. A past Lucien wanted to forget. A past where he's staring and horrified at the sight of his hands being all covered by the blood of his parents and staring at their corpses lying in the living room. But luckily, Lucien escaped certain death. After a few days of his escape, in the slums of Xiphos, Lucien heard news that led him to be more mortified. A homeless man told the news that the whole Sincraidel bloodline has been massacred all throughout the Continents.
But he just doesn't stand there to reminisce about the past, Lucien had other plans in mind. Lucien makes his way through the second floor and towards the library, once inside, he pulls a book, which opens a secret passageway towards a hidden cave beneath the mansion, revealing what's beneath the cave.
