Late the next morning in Meatspace
Ares got out of bed and picked up his phone to call Semi. However, there was no response because she was offline. However, she left a message for Ares, saying:
Ares, we're sorry we've been offline for so many days. Our finances are really bad. Moon even asked us not to tell her. We're going to the bank near the mall today, so we won't be logging in for the time being. We apologize.
After she finished reading the message, she quickly got out of bed, took a shower, got dressed, and immediately got on the bus to go into the city.
Cut to the three of them.
They're now at a bank in a shopping mall. They've come to apply for a loan at various banks, but none of them will accept their application because their incomes are uncertain.
"Oh, my! God!!!!! Everything was going so well. Why did this have to happen? Moon is furious.
"I think you should go walk around this area first and calm down. We'll talk to the bank manager for a bit" Big G told him to go rest.
At first, Moon seemed to refuse, but he was told to calm down first. He walked around the area, irritated and overthinking everything. He picked up his phone and looked at Ares's chat. He wanted to talk to her, but he didn't want to bring his problems to her.
Meanwhile in Mall
Ares arrived at the mall and hurried to the area with the many banks. She grabbed her phone and opened Semi's social media, where she had previously livestreamed a snack review a long time ago. She walked, her phone in hand, searching for Semi.
Moon, who had been looking down at her phone and not looking where she was going, suddenly focused on Ares's chat.
Bang!!!!!....Ouch!!!!!
The sound of the two colliding with each other caused them to fall to the ground. This was the second time the two had collided.
"Shit! Learn to look where you're going. Can't you see there's people walking?" Moon started cursing first.
"I'm sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't really look where I was going" Ares apologized in response.
As the two faced each other, a sense of familiarity began to develop between them. They stared at each other in silence, even though Ares was wearing a mask. Before they could speak, they heard a voice calling out from afar.
"Moonnnnn, where are you?" Semi called out to him.
"Wait, are you Moon?"Ares asked him.
"Here you are!!!! What are you doing on the floor? If you want to sleep, go sleep at home," Semi said.
When the four of them stood in front of each other, they were speechless. This was the first time the four of them had met in the real world, not the VR world. While the three of them were stunned, Ares suggested that they go talk at a coffee shop instead.
After a while, Ares, who was sitting across from the three, began to speak first.
"Alright, let's get to the point. I know what you're up to. Why didn't you tell me?"
"We don't want to expose this problem to anyone else. Just helping us practice is already a great favor" Moon said.
"Now, I have a proposal. Would you like to come stay at my place?"
"Wait, do you have a house?" G asked.
"Of course it's my father's, but they've got to talk about it first. I'm offering you to come stay at my place, but I'm not letting you stay for free, Just help me pay the water and electricity bills, that's all"
The joy and relief of the three was clearly visible to Ares, and she smiled beneath the mask she never let anyone see. The three then stopped to buy some snacks before heading to their rented room to help them pack their things.
