"Rhaz'tur ael vokh'ra, Sen'dar thun kel'ara! Khar'sul ven tor'kesh,Draal'nath vek'torash! Xir'hal zoth ven dral— SHAK'THA'RIN VOL'TA!"
Jack chanted his incantation while blocking the beam attack. Then, with the final and most powerful chant of his ancient spell, the clouds above darkened, covering the bright sun. Powerful lightning roared across the sky as if God's wrath had descended.
With a deafening crack, a spear of lightning emerged—not from the heavens, but from Jack's outstretched hands.
The blue thunder spear, blazing with destructive energy, shot forward at blinding speed toward the Epic-grade slime, obliterating everything in its path.
Sensing danger, the slime gathered every bit of power into its maw, forming a concentrated light of pure destruction before launching it toward the incoming spear in a desperate attempt to halt its advance.
The collision of the two opposing elements was cataclysmic—the shockwave alone made almost everyone on the school grounds lose their footing.
Veyra, who was the closest, was thrown back several meters.
Teacher Jon wasn't faring much better. His shirt collar was grabbed by Old Ray, who, standing amid fierce winds like an unyielding mountain, refused to be blown away. Yet his body trembled like a lone leaf on a tree, struggling not to be torn apart.
"WAHAHAAWDSFC!" the slime monster screamed desperately, sensing the still-approaching spear of lightning.
It tried its best to stop it, but the spear of lightning was far more destructive and powerful than its heat ray. In the end, the spear pierced the slime, and with a painful scream, its body exploded—scattering everywhere.
"Huff~ finally ended." Jack let out a sigh of relief as he walked forward and picked up a red orb the size of a football. "It's hot!"
"Huh... ended..." Doran's mouth twisted as he looked at the remains of the school.'When the principal sees this, he'll nearly have a heart attack.'
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!! MY SCHOOOOL!!"Suddenly, a furious voice echoed from the sky.
'Speak of the devil,' Doran thought as he looked up and saw two people—one was the principal, enclosed in a transparent bubble of mana, and the other was a man who looked to be in his thirties. But looks could be deceiving, especially when the person had reached Tier 2.
Doran could feel the familiar aura of a Tier 2 from the man.
He was floating in the air with a casual air, yet Doran could sense a dangerous pressure radiating from him. This was his instinct at work—honed through countless life-and-death battles.
The two quickly landed nearby, and from the sides, the other teachers also came rushing over.
"My schoooollllll!!!" The moment the principal landed, he knelt down and gently rubbed the rocky, scorched ground.
"WAHAHA—FUCK! HOT! HOT! WATER! WATER!!" he screamed immediately, his hands burning red.
Veyra, with a blank expression, released water from her hands. The principal, with his short and fat legs, ran over and plunged his burning hands into the water, his expression turning blissful.
Every teacher was embarrassed by his behavior.
"Well, it seems you defeated it, huh?" the man said to Jack, noticing the monster's mana core in his hand.
"Yeah."
"Pity..." the man muttered quietly, but Jack caught it with his supernatural hearing.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Jack asked, a frown forming on his face.
"I mean, I've heard a lot about you. You're quite famous—Jack, the Re-Awakener," the man said with a slight smile.
Jack frowned a bit but eventually ignored the man and walked past him. He looked around, and with mana flowing through his eyes, he quickly located his space ring.
'What the heck? How did it break?' he thought. It's not easy for space rings to crack or even chip, since space stones are extremely durable and hard. Even the rest of their structure is made from rare materials—which also makes them expensive as hell.
Jack immediately moved toward it. From a normal person's perspective, it almost looked like he had teleported.
Behind him, the principal introduced the man with a heavy heart.
"Everyone, meet the newly appointed Chief Law Enforcer of the city—Jimmy."
"Nice to meet you," Jimmy said.
Everyone gave him a polite nod, which he returned in kind.
"Well, this case is a bit strange," Jimmy said as he casually slipped his hands into his pockets. "I'll need everyone's cooperation."
Everyone nodded, expressing their willingness—they, too, wanted to know what caused this, and why.
At the other side, Jack surveyed the area with a deep frown.
'What's with this concentration of mana? Did someone try to awaken… but there's no trace of blood… then why? Could this also be the reason the space stone cracked?' Jack wondered, but no matter how much he thought about it, it was of no use.
In the end, he decided to leave this trouble to the experts.
With a sigh, he stretched his arms as his book floated in front of him, a page already open with something written on it.
The text glowed for an instant, and then, before Jack's eyes, a black portal appeared, swallowing everything in front of him.
"With this, I can finally go… my sweet wife must be waiting for me with my adorable daughter," Jack smiled foolishly.

At Alex's Side
"That was intense. I was nearly blown off," Alex sighed with relief.
"Get off my face, jerk!"
Alex lowered his head toward the source of the voice and saw Robert under his ass.
"Eh!? Disgusting..." Alex immediately stood up and kicked Robert at his face, as he spoke.
After that, he looked around, only to see everyone lying on the ground, grunting in pain — after all, they weren't really that far from the explosion.
Liliane, rubbing her head, was the first to stand up, followed by everyone else.
"It seems the teachers took that thing down," Kael said with relief, as he could no longer hear the monster's screams.
"Yeah!" Corin chimed in from the side.
It was then that Alex noticed Aedric near the corpse of the slime, staring blankly at it.
Alex raised an eyebrow, then recalled the name of Aedric's talent — and immediately understood what was wrong with him.
