Chapter 197 - Alliance of Chaos: Rise of the Anti-Hero

Loki's gaze went back and forth between Dominic and Deadpool. With his usual cold tone and a hint of mockery on his lips, he asked, "So, who exactly is the leader of this 'team'? Is it this 'super soldier' who looks like he ran out of a Hollywood sci-fi movie, or this guy dressed like a birthday party clown?"

Upon hearing this, Deadpool immediately straightened up, like a student hearing his name called, raising both hands: "Teacher! It's me! The answer is me!" He pointed a finger at Loki, then at Dominic, "Although he looks like the ideal leader template—invincible, ruthless, and without animosity—don't forget, the one who can really carry the box office is a wisecracking comedic relief like me, understand? The core of the anti-hero—Deadpool!" After speaking, he deliberately struck a dramatic pose with his swords crossed.

Loki frowned, clearly impatient with Deadpool's theatricality: "Box office? What the hell are you talking about?"

Deadpool then showed a patient expression, like a mentor facing a foolish student: "Ah, this is class time, kids." He drew a frame in the air with his hand, as if explaining, "Look, the villain we're facing is Rama-Tut, some kind of epic Multiverse threat. And you, Loki, congratulations on joining the super team saving the Universe." His tone suddenly shifted, and his face showed an exaggerated look of panic: "Oh no, you're not a hero! You're a little demon addicted to betrayal! What? You're actually the final important piece of the puzzle? This is the magic of Hollywood screenwriters! No, it should be said, this is a plot choice caused by audience aesthetic fatigue!"

Loki narrowed his eyes, his voice lowering: "Do you really think I'm hero material? Don't be ridiculous." His gaze fell on the unconscious Thor not far away, his expression complex. He pursed his lips slightly, then continued, "You've chosen the wrong person. He is the hero, not me. Thor is the Guardian of Asgard, and I..." He paused, then sneered, a hint of self-mockery in his eyes, "I'm just a failed prince."

Dominic listened quietly to Loki's words, pondered for a moment, and then spoke slowly: "A hero is not born, nor is it a label. It is a choice. Thor is a hero, but his path to heroism is not one you need to replicate. Your path is here, at this moment, and it is related to your choices."

Upon hearing this, everyone turned their gaze to Dominic. His voice was steady and powerful, as if carrying undeniable strength: "You may think you are just a discarded piece on the chessboard. But Loki, you've forgotten, sometimes a discarded piece can decide the game."

Loki was slightly stunned, seemingly touched by these words. He looked up at Dominic, a hint of complex emotion in his eyes. After a moment, he sneered to hide his fluctuation: "That sounds very inspiring. However, I'm better at causing chaos than saving the World."

"Precisely because of that," Deadpool jumped out again, his tone carrying a hint of flippant teasing, "we need you! Thor and all that, please, his golden hair, big muscles, and hammer are like an AI-generated hero template! But you? Oh, your tricky moves, plot twists, fancy escapes, and that annoying yet lovable charm are the essence this team needs!"

Loki raised an eyebrow: "Essence? Sounds more like you're using me."

Deadpool shrugged: "Of course we're using you! The true meaning of teamwork is mutual utilization. Who would pass up the opportunity of a genius sorcerer who can also play double agent games? What's more, you have that charm with a touch of SM—uh, I don't mean you'll hit people, but you know, the vibe of the god of mischief."

Loki looked at Deadpool speechlessly: "I really regret even considering helping you just now."

America couldn't help but laugh: "Come on, Loki. You can tell you're actually enjoying it."

Miles nodded in agreement: "And, honestly, you're pretty cool. Much more interesting than some heroes who just rely on brute force."

Loki looked at this group of people, finally sighed, and showed a smile with an unclear meaning: "Alright, let me see how far these so-called heroes can take this act."

Deadpool clapped loudly: "That's the team spirit I want! Welcome aboard, Mr. Loki!"

Logan stood at the edge of the ruined Asgard refugee camp, flicked the ash from his cigar, and frowned slightly: "Now that we're all on Earth, will Thanos come after us?" His low voice broke the brief silence among the group.

Upon hearing this, everyone stopped what they were doing. The atmosphere suddenly became a little heavy.

Deadpool stepped forward, waving his hands exaggeratedly: "Oh, relax, relax! Even if Thanos comes, he's just asking for death, alright? Listen—" He cleared his throat and began to speak in a crosstalk-like tone, "First of all, he only has one Power Stone right now. You know, this is the core of the Marvel Cinematic Universe setting—without the stones, Thanos is at best a purple yam who can punch. What do you think he can do? Dance a five-year anniversary dance for the Avengers?"

Miles Morales couldn't help but laugh, while Peter pushed up his helmet and glared at Deadpool: "So, you mean, it's completely impossible?"

Deadpool wagged his finger, his tone suddenly becoming mysterious: "Oh, wait, wait! I didn't say completely impossible. Unless—" He deliberately paused, his gaze sweeping over everyone, as if waiting for a climax.

Miles and Peter asked almost in unison: "Unless what?"

Dominic crossed his arms and calmly took over: "Unless Rama-Tut helps him." His voice was calm and certain, but it made everyone's nerves tense up.

Loki frowned, his tone more serious than usual: "Rama-Tut? You've been mentioning him. But I still don't know who this person is."

Upon hearing this, Deadpool immediately became interested, jumping up and shouting: "Great! This is my favorite plot point! Come on, everyone, let's give a warm welcome to—Rama-Tut's family photo time!" He casually conjured a virtual drawing board from who knows where and began to gesture in the air.

"So, this Rama-Tut is, in a way, one of our big bosses. He comes from the future, an era where technology is so advanced it dwarfs Earth. This guy not only has the ability to time travel, but he also comes with infinite possibilities. Oh, and he has another identity—Kang the Conqueror, ever heard of him?"

Loki narrowed his eyes slightly: "Kang the Conqueror? That name sounds like an ambitious tyrant."

"You got it!" Deadpool pointed at Loki, with an expression that said, "You're so smart," "However, he's trickier than a tyrant. He can manipulate timelines and reset history as he pleases. And he's a Universe travel expert, constantly going to different Worlds to snatch resources, wipe out races, and incidentally change his identity countless times. Rama-Tut is just one version."

"One version?" Loki repeated softly, a hint of inquiry in his voice.

Dominic took a step forward, his gaze calm: "He is a more dangerous enemy than Thanos. Thanos relies on strength and strategy, while Rama-Tut is more like a gambler. He roams The Multiverse, looking for his pieces. Thanos can destroy a Planet with one stone, but Rama-Tut can make an entire Planet cease to exist by altering history."

Loki was silent for a moment, then looked up and asked: "So, if he helps Thanos, what does that mean?"

"It means we might face a war where even history cannot be preserved." Dominic's answer was straightforward, but the threat within it was undeniable.

America frowned, crossing her arms: "Then why wait for him to make a move? Can't we find him and take him out now?"

Upon hearing this, Deadpool immediately raised his hand, like an overly enthusiastic elementary school student: "Agreed! Kill the big boss directly, and we can slowly deal with the smaller fry. But, you know, then there won't be a third act, and the audience will find it very boring."

Miles interrupted: "Wait a minute, Deadpool. This is reality, not a movie!"

"Aha! That's where you're wrong, little bug." Deadpool pointed at Miles, then at Peter, "What do you think reality is? Look at this ragtag group of ours: half superheroes, half anti-heroes, and a dramatic prince who ran out of Norse mythology. We're a popcorn movie, okay? The director hasn't even set a release date for us yet!"

Peter shook his head: "If we really are a movie, I hope the director doesn't let us encounter anything worse."

Loki said coldly: "So, you really plan to drag me into this absurd adventure?"

Dominic looked at Loki, his gaze steady: "This is not an absurd adventure. This is your opportunity to prove your worth. Perhaps you don't need to be a hero. But if one day you stand before destruction and do nothing, can you accept that?"

Loki lowered his head in thought, a complex smile playing on his lips: "You speak well. But I never believe in saviors."

"Then believe in yourself." Dominic's tone was calm, yet resonant.

Deadpool clapped his hands on the side: "Wow, perfect feel-good moment! Someone quickly give him some background music, preferably some emotional orchestral music."
