Chapter 6 - First Smile

Sunlight filtered through the leaves of the gigantic trees. The melodies of birds were relaxing. A cool wind rustled the towel wrapped around Yakoza's neck. In soothing calmness, they continued across the swamp. At one point, Yakoza noticed something.

"Have you ever given your full name?"

Muraith calmly answered.

"No."

Afterwards they calmly proceeded. They approached an old ivy-covered temple nestled at the beginning of gigantic snowy-mountains. Up the entrance of the gigantic temple, cloaked in shadows, sat a young man with a fungal right arm. He sat quietly, watching.

Yakoza met his eyes.

"Understand it already."

The message confused Yakoza. In the meanwhile Muraith walked on, seemingly unaware.

Afterwards they entered the beautifully designed, ivy-covered, ancient temple. The temple was a tunnel which served as an entryway. It had one corridor leading to an exit. The light from that exit illuminated the walls.

Along the walls and the curved ceiling stones, countless engraved arts were revealed. Beneath clouds were people. In a sky with stars and the sun, above the clouds, were celestial cities on floating islands. Among the clouds were four different figures. A huge, long dragon embraced a planet. The center of the ceiling was adorned with astronomical sculptures. Finally they reached the exit.

Exiting the temple, they arrived at a huge, ancient, abandoned city encircled by massive, iced mountains. On a hilltop at the horizon, stood a colossal palace of the city. The upper levels of the palace vanished into the clouds. The rest of the city remained more modest. Houses and buildings were at most three floors high. The roads were perfectly designed. All were built from magnificent limestone. In its marvelous rivers, clear waters still flowed silently. The leaves of the trees and the grass were vibrant red. The city felt like heaven on Earth.

They took steps. Despite the surrounding gigantic snowy mountains, the air was cool and strangely pressurized. There was neither wind nor sound. The river water flowed silently.

They moved onward.

Many faces and heads emerged from the clouds, each distinct. Some bore long beards or flowing long hair that hung from the sky. Their eyes followed them. While walking, Yakoza watched the sky.

"So it's real after all."

Muraith still glanced forward.

"It is."

All the eyes in the clouds suddenly locked onto Muraith.

He stopped walking.

The pressure intensified.

The rivers began to flow more violently. The sun began gliding rapidly across the sky. Suddenly, the rivers and the sun slowed again. The sun hovered near setting. The clouds multiplied greatly. Many more heads appeared. Teardrops started to fall from the hundreds of eyes locked on him.

It rained like a storm.

Through the storm, they walked. They passed…

Across magnificent avenues and over bridges spanning rushing rivers…

From afar beside the gigantic Palace…

Finally, they approached a wide, ancient building. It was a space station. Inside the station, a wide stairway led deep underground. The rain did not relent.

Muraith turned to him in front, extending his hand to him.

"Give me the suitcase."

Yakoza gave the suitcase.

"Father… Can I get one last piece of advice that can change my life?"

Holding the suitcase in his right hand, he walked to the station. Thunder roared across the storm-wracked sky. He turned to Yakoza. For the first time, he smiled slightly at Yakoza.

"Truth isn't tied to thoughts."

He raised his left hand.

"Until your empowerment."

He descended the stairs.

Yakoza raised his hand in farewell and turned away.

The smile shocked him.

The storms intensified even more…

Suddenly… a gigantic destructive explosion…

Everywhere is engulfed into darkness. Many dead corpses appeared in lake-sized pools of blood. Some of them seemed recognizable. A car was on fire. The blood lake rapidly overflowed with blood. Blood extinguished the fire. The flood rose extremely rapidly.

Everything drowned in blood.
