Thirty minutes before Cho Mi-young entered the cafeteria, Soohyun, Eun-woo, and Do-yoon arrived for lunch.
Eun-woo, his mouth watering, "I'll have lunch set B—it's full of delicious meats."
"I... I'll have lunch set C," Do-yoon hesitantly. "I want to try their carrot cake."
A nostalgic look crossed Soohyun's face. "They have carrot cake?
It's my favorite.
My mom used to make it for me whenever I was feeling down."
Then, with a look of interest, he added, "Okay, then I'll have lunch set A. That set also has carrot cake."
Do-yoon smiled, while Eun-woo remained in his "meat utopia."
As they found a table near the counter, Soohyun heard a whisper from a nearby table: "Hey, it's that black-haired guy. A total hottie." Soohyun didn't pay it much attention.
Once they were seated, Soohyun smiled, "Let's dig in." Just as he was about to eat, he felt like a bunch of eyes were staring at him. He turned around, but everyone was minding their own business.
"What's wrong, Soohyun?" Do-yoon, with a piece of carrot stuck in his teeth. "Is something wrong?"
"No, everything's all right," Soohyun with a straight face. "By the way, there's a piece of carrot stuck in your teeth."
Do-yoon, embarrassed, stuttered, "Th-thank you." Eun-woo, meanwhile, was still lost in his meat utopia, completely oblivious to what was happening.
Soohyun tried to calm himself.
"Maybe I'm feeling this way because of what happened back in the classroom."
He continued his meal, but the feeling of being watched returned, this time with even greater intensity.
He turned around again, but everything seemed normal.
"Soohyun, are you also feeling a bunch of eyes staring at you?" Do-yoon asked, looking scared.
"You too, Do-yoon?" Soohyun with a stressful look on his face.
Suddenly, a tall, white-haired, beautiful oni girl with a golden horn and a scar on her left eye was standing in front of them. "Is your name Do-yoon?" She, looking at Do-yoon.
"Y-yes, I am," Do-yoon stammered, terrified.
Disliking the situation, Soohyun stood up. "Who are you? What do you want from Do-yoon?"
The oni girl looked at Soohyun and threatened, "Don't disturb our precious time together."
Soohyun saw a series of disturbing, horrible, and unspeakable events—enough to make him lose consciousness.
Seeing this, Do-yoon started screaming for help.
The oni girl clenched her teeth. "I should have come prepared. Wait for me, my Do-yoon." She then disappeared.
