Chapter 47 - Life is all about choices- Rohit Mehra.

And with Krish, his plane landed in Mumbai, and, both Krishna and Priya were in a taxi, Priya was so tired that she fell asleep, and Krishna was looking outside at the cloudy sky, thinking of something far away, when the taxi suddenly stopped, Krish looked ahead to see why the taxi has stopped, and he saw a huge numbers of cars in front of him, there was a huge traffic jam out there, he asked the driver what's happening there why the traffic jam? The driver replied.

" There is a protest going on there, two groups of people are blocking the road, one group supports Krish, saying he is a hero and he does not need to give his blood, second is the opposite, they are having argument in the road, I heard police is also there, handling the situation, I heard in some countries, death has already occurred because of it."

" What do you mean by death?" asked Krishna looking at him.

" Ohh, it's something like this. Two groups of people, one supporting and opposing Krish, had a conflict, and few people died, and some were injured. I heard that's not a single case, many similar cases have happened in many different countries. India is ok, but who can say." And the more Krishna heard him, the more his expression became bad.

And in the apartment, Krishna looked at news reports of Supriya's channel, and it was all the protests happening around the world, and several injuries and death that happen, after a time Krish stopped listening to the news channel, his head lowering, his eyes landing on his hand, when he heard a voice.

" Every second 1.8 people die in the world." And Krishna looked at the door of the apartment where his father was standing.

" Every minute eight and half people die because of accidents." And Rohit entered the apartment, and slowly sat in front of him.

" Every hour 5800 people die because of various illnesses." And Rohit took off his glasses.

" Every day 420 people die because of war in the world."

" Every week 173,000 people die every week because of hunger."

" Every month 25 people die because of various protests and marching." And he looked at Krishna, and asked him a simple question.

" Can you save them all? Can you prevent all of this? Are those deaths on you?" And Krishna also asked.

" But those deaths are." And he pointed at the tv, and Rohit turned her head, and after looking at it, he turned it off.

" So do the lives you saved the day Arya decided it's time for a restart. You have to understand Krishna, human's biggest enemy is humans themselves. No matter how strong you are, how right you are, how righteous, how noble you are, there will always be noises denouncing you. Arya saw through that very early, he realized no matter what he does or how he does, in the end people will never thank him. His choice to restart the world was the least cost effective option to solve the problem of all humanity once it for all. Even I couldn't done it any better. he thought it'll be better to restart the world than fix it slowly." And Rohit looked at his eyes.

" He chose the easy way, you chose the hard way." And he leaned back .

" Krishna, you had made a choice back then, and today is the day you bare the fruit of it."

" How does it taste?" and Krishna said in a low voice.

" Not very good." and Rohit asked again.

" Don't worry, this fruit will whiter and new fruit will take its place." And Krishna asked.

" I feel helpless dad, I could fight ten days and nights without rest, but I really don't understand why they are like this." and Rohit patted his shoulder.

" It's simple, it's easy to kill a horse then tame it. You are that horse, they can not kill you, but they can make you lose, either you give him the blood or not, they'll win ." and krish said in a low voice.

" What would happen if I gave them my blood?" and Rohit raised his eyebrows.

" What do you think?"

" It won't be good anyways. I can delay a year at most, then I'll have to make a formula that makes you a normal person at best, or make you die altogether. And yeah, don't forget the savior guy. You probably see someone like him more often." and Krish asked again.

" What if I don't give it to them?" And Rohit said lightly.

" You retire, or ignore everything, become the public enemy of the world."

" So am I wrong?" He asked, looking at his hand. Rohit didn't reply directly but said in a light tone, but his words carry a heavy weight.

" Sometimes, your choices often become your burden." And Krishna's eyes never left him.

" You put on the mask, it was your choice, and now that same mask has become a burden on you."

" So what should I do? give up?"

" I can't decide that for you—it's your choice. Only time will reveal whether it turns out to be right or becomes a burden. But here's one piece of advice: don't let anyone else's advice push you into a decision you might regret. Make your own choice. And even if you do regret it later, it's far better to blame yourself than to blame others." and patted his shoulder again, And said in a very u professional style.

" Let's eat, I haven't eaten good food for ages, your sister's cooking is awful, make something nice to eat ." And Krishna's melancholic face burst out a small laugh, lighting the depressed mood a little.
