In an era where sects rise and fall like fleeting stars, one man dares to forge a legacy that shakes the heavens themselves. Alen, once forgotten and cast aside, awakens to power through bonds, discipline, and a system that guides him toward greatness. With the loyalty of disciples and the might of legendary elders like Kaelith Veynar—the Sky-Sundering Blade—and Serik Dravenheart—the Ashborn Flame—he rebuilds the Heaven Breaker Sect from ashes. Rivalries flare, ancient enemies awaken, and empires tremble, but within Alen burns the unyielding flame of one truth: only by breaking the heavens themselves can true freedom be claimed. Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Fall of a Broken Man

Earth.

A world brimming with life force, overflowing with countless living beings blessed by nature.

But this was not the Earth we know. Here, seventeen vast continents stretched across the land, encircled by seven great oceans, nine endless seas, and a single Boundary Wall an eternal barrier that only those who reached the Demi-God Realm could ever hope to cross.

Year 1998. Second Month. Third Day. Midnight.

In this age, guns and bombs had long been forgotten. Wealth could grant a man titles, comfort, even the favor of nobles but it could not shield him from the strong. Only one truth reigned supreme:

Your worth was measured by your fists.

To be weak was to be prey. To be strong was to walk toward eternity. Every soul, from beggar to emperor, sought immortality striving to pierce the heavens, to step into the Demi-God Realm, to challenge the gods themselves.

But tonight's tale was not about gods. It was about a man who was both the luckiest and the unluckiest of all.

The Luckiest Man

His name was Alen.

The world envied him, for he had been born into a house as wealthy as kingdoms and as strong as empires. From birth, power and prestige surrounded him. He was called the luckiest of men.

Yet by thirty five, that fortune had rotted into a curse.

Alen was a broken man. Drowned in wine, wandering in despair, he caused trouble wherever he went. His own family—once so proud had turned their backs, losing all hope in him.

But no one ever asked why.

No one wanted to understand the pain that drove him into ruin.

The Unluckiest Man

On a storm-lashed night, Alen staggered through the streets as usual, bottle in hand, his steps unsteady. His trembling legs gave way, and he collapsed—head striking against something impossible.

A metal.

Not just any metal, but the rarest of the rare a mythical ore so scarce that one might find a god before ever laying eyes upon it.

Yet Alen did.

And in that moment, his life ended.

His skull split against the unyielding surface, blood mixing with rain. Darkness claimed him.

But even as his soul drifted away, emotions tore through him guilt, sorrow, rage, and a bittersweet happiness.

The Flashbacks

His life flashed before his eyes.

He saw his youth, his first love, the joyful days with his wife the only warmth in his broken existence.

But joy turned to horror.

He saw the moment he wished he could erase forever: the day his wife died in his arms. They had been caught in the battle of two supreme cultivators. One stray strike had fallen upon them like the wrath of heaven. She died helplessly, while he powerless could do nothing but watch.

His family, though strong, dared not seek revenge. They turned away, leaving Alen to drown alone in grief. That day, he lost everything.

And so he drowned himself in alcohol, trying to forget, even as his soul withered.

The Voice in the Void

The flashback ended, leaving only darkness. Alen's vision burned as the void stretched endlessly around him.

Then a light.

It took the form of his wife. She looked at him with the same gentle warmth as before and whispered:

"It wasn't your fault."

Her image vanished, replaced by a blinding burst of light.

A New Beginning

When Alen opened his eyes again, he was no longer on Earth. He stood in an unfamiliar land, before a towering gate engraved with three words:

Heaven Breaker Sect.

Confused, he looked down at himself—only to realize this was not even his own body.

Before he could panic, a cold, mechanical voice echoed in his mind:

Ding!
