Chapter 39 - Chaos child - Chapter Thirty-Nine: Dead roots and New roots

A dim light cascaded, upon three spread out gravestones. Each one had dedicated land behind them where no one stood and any bodies that were recovered are buried within their designated orders.

The birds chirped, as a reading was being done.

"Today we have to bear witness to the graves…"

The burial ground was completely packed as men and women in all black stood all around it.

"Of the fallen, those who are now in Zion—a place of ultimate peace, where all souls go on to rest."

One very old man stood on top of a small wooden elevated podium, in front of the tombstones, speaking to everyone.

His posture was bent, hands behind his back, adorned in priestly clothing and wearing silver riveted Spectacles, their lenses a crystalline shape allowing him to see far away.

"It is indeed a tragic and unfortunate day for all of us. So—let us all have a moment of silence, first. Begin thy dirge."

Men and women in all black, came forward, from the crowd turning around to face them, their backs facing the elevated priest.

They all took a minute to clear their throats before beginning to sing.

As they sung their solemn voices, whistled through the wind.

Their heavenly pitch was amplified by the wind's whistling sound.

The wind itself slowed with their voices, causing it to resonate within the ears of all the people present and around the burial ground.

A pair of lieutenants in fully plated armour marched in orderly fashion towards the tombstone on the right. They bore the crest of a lion and together they held a flagpole with their crest on it too.

Then lieutenants with the crest of an eagle marched in an orderly fashion towards the middle tombstone.

Finally lieutenants with the crest of a Phoenix rising from thorns branches. Marched toward the left tombstone.

They stood on either side of the tombstones and plunged the flagpoles with their crests into the hole at the top of the tombstones. The poles went right through the ground.

At this point the choir had begun to lower their voices.

After this one lieutenant from each tombstone grabbed long and curved horns, lifting helmet visors as they prepared to sound the horns.

Priest begins—"Here lies, Gallantry the soldiers who fought for the people, and remained their shield. They are the heart of Viscura." He pointed to the Gallantry flag.

"We only managed to recover two bodies within Trishtan for Gallantry. Here lies Deian. Deian Cofield, better know as obsidian, next to his son Baruss Cofield" their bodies were underneath the ground

"Here lies Nobility, the soldiers who fought with excellence, and also fought to provide the best service to the people. They are truly Viscura's blade."

"No bodies were recovered."

"Finally here lies Serenity— These soldiers are those who have chosen to forfeit their old ways and fight for lively hoods of the people they once terrorised. Those who seek atonement. One most notably, whose bodies were recovered are Galerius Liora and Ferveon Rolland who were the two biggest warlords back during the second revolution. They all represent the soul of Viscura."

3 conservative horns are blown.

Giving off a raw, earthy sound, reverberating through the atmosphere.

They all took breaths and repeated blowing the horns, three times more.

Everyone remained silent, the birds had gone quiet too.

Natured had stilled.

The priest dropped his head, in respect stepping off the podium.

Every lieutenant at tombstones. Turned saluted and marched off out of view, the choir dispersed as well also.

The priest, now the only one standing, spoke "Everyone of these individuals no matter the reputation—meant something to someone today. Take heed of this today, as we spend the last 20 minutes of the funeral in remembrance. I advise you all to look on the graves of the fallen with a deep respect"

The priest stepped down, and moved out of view as the podium is also taken away.

Everyone stood in silence. Looking on at graves of the fallen.

Alcon stood somewhere in front looking forward his brows furrowed. Amanda stood behind him holding Serene who was covered in bandages, up right. Both straight faced along with two other men Rakor and Burgos who was another B ranked general, both standing together on one side of Alcon. Burgos is 6,8 two inches taller than Rakor, a brown skinned with thick black dread locks, he broke into tears while Rakor's face saddened.

Julie, on other hand, with her fist now bandaged up, almost fell to her knees until a male captain beside her held her up. He took one look at her and cried too.

Jackson stood nearby his posture hunched; he was now much cleaner, with new linen clothes holding himself up with a wooden stave.

He looked on at the tombstones, tears trickling down his face, his mouth quivered and shook as he tried to control it.

Volka's head was down, hiding her face as tears dropped to the ground.

Through silence. Memories of their loved ones flashed through the people's minds. The weight of the moment continued to sink in.

Everyone managed to remain controlled in their sobbing.

20 minutes past, Most people had stopped their sobbing by now.

They just looked toward the graves, in straight–faced contemplations.

Light had receded from the grave, as the sun was covered up by gray clouds.

Rain began to pour, as thunder rolled.

The priest stood in front of everyone yet again.

Alcon walked forward and spoke to everyone.

"Men and women of Viscura. Understand that this evil done to us is only the start. We must chase this evil out before it has roots to grow. So I urge you all to be prepared, and keep hope as we will not have another necromancer run rampant within our land. Not again."

The priest walked beside Alcon and said "Peace be upon Viscura's people, you are all dismissed from the funeral. Those who want to stay longer to mourn for any reason feel free."

People turned away to leave one by one.

Alcon and the priest watched this take place.

"This is unexpected." the priest said.

"Indeed it is Jager. Indeed it is.."

After a while the place had partially cleared out but many had stayed to mourn.

At this moment Alcon, and Jager left.

"Did the funeral for the people of Trishtan that were killed, go ahead as planned in the region of Tourian."

"Yes, I got word that the regional master hosted it earlier today."

"Great." Alcon nodded.

They both left the burial grounds and walking down rocky, trail

Grassy plains, surrounded them, as they walked. Everyone else was further ahead of them.

"I'm wondering Jager—do you also think I was wrong to take a quiet step back?" Alcon asked curiously.

"I agreed with your approach. Though you should have alerted me, as the time at which you stepped back could have been managed better."

Alcon just took a moment to think.

"I also didn't expect you to just leave the palace and go on a 7 month vacation? To the region of aurora what were you even doing there?"

"Well I originally went there, to see what it would be like with the law they set in place, two, three years ago. I stayed there for a while and it was fun. Who knew that many nobles in one place could actually be productive. Anyway, one day I decided to venture into the forest because why not and ended up running into someone."

"Mmmh? Was it a woman—if so, of repute is she in Viscura?"

"No—a Man from outside Viscura"

"Oh I see. And what does the world say of him?"

"He fought and survived from 1040 to 1090 CD"

Jager spectacles slipped from his face as he stopped and looked at Alcon shocked

Alcon caught them.

"Are you saying. He fought—and—survived—Zenith?!"

Alcon smiled, nodding, handing the glasses to Jager.

Jager took his glasses putting them in his pocket, Alcon continued to walking

"That means he's a—"

"Hold your tongue about this Jager." Alcon said seriously

"Here in Viscura of all places? Woah Alcon no wonder you were away for months. I hope you're in his good graces, if so we won't have to worry about this necromancer."

"No Jager, I won't ask him to fight. We will handle this on our own. Viscura is a place for people to come to rest and retire. We are the last land of peace for a reason. This our mess to figure out."

"I won't argue with that. Just make sure you're on his good side. Moving on—what do you intend to do now?"

"I am having a meeting with each remaining regional masters and the generals of the order, they are all set to arrive tomorrow morning."

"So you have a plan?"

"Not quite. I am still trying to piece things together—I assume you will be joining the discussion?" Alcon glanced to his side.

The priest silently nodded

"I shall."

A smile tugged at Alcon's lips as they both walked into a black gatehouse, that was the entrance to a wide bridge which stretched 72.5km out into the sea reaching palace which sat on a single piece of land, that the bridge connected too.

Both travelled along the bridge and entered the palace, getting ready for the many things they must do.

A day passes after the funeral the regional masters are set to arrive soon.

Everyone is up to something different.

At the palace, within the courtyard echoes of metal on wood.

It was still very early in the morning and no other soldier was out in the side courtyard.

There was Jackson hitting a training, a iron training dummy with a metal tipped spear.

Jackson had light leather on which covered him up

He whirled his spear around, piercing from each side. Jackson movements were controlled and intentional. Sweat curled off his face, from time to time he would clutch his chest pain. But he gritted through the pain and hit harder each time.

Far above him was an open palace window, sounds of paper being torn could be heard inside. From inside we could see the bedroom where Julie sat on a desk: her ginger blond hair unfurled, eyes red and puffy as if she had been crying all night.

She sat on a wooden chair writing away with a feather pen on a sheet of parchment.

On the wooden floor lay: torn pieces of paper, a snapped quill and broken ink well.

She wrote with intensity as if writing some sort of wrathful lament.

She dabbed the quill in her inkwell, once she pulled it out some ink splashed on the desk. Quietly she wrote, her mind racing, as she ripped up parchment pulled more out from the desk drawer. Pain jolted from her bandaged hand causing her grip to intensify on the quill snapping it.

"I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT YOU!" She bellowed, suddenly.

Swiping her hand across the table as ink well smashed on the floor, staining it.

Promptly she got up off her chair and started itching her hair irritatedly as she walked over to her bed. "Forget this!" Then—

A long spear the height of the room which sat against the wall: it was black and gold; its end was sharp, the spear's very being hummed of power. The edges of the blade were covered in gold and the rest was black. Julie looked over— to it "Dulki?" her tongue spoke an ancient language

The spear's mana exuded out of it in a thick mist of gold and black.

She looked over to the window hearing loud clangs.

Looking out into the courtyard she saw Jackson fighting with a spear, his moves. Fluid.

Determined. Each strike had power but also had control. Showing great potential.

Pain jolted through Jackson's chest gripped it, but he remained controlled taking a breath as he delivered a strike with all his might breaking the iron dummy, chunks of iron clattering on the ground.

Jackson huffed and chuffed as he held his chest before he caught breath and a spear landed behind him, its tip firmly cut into the cobblestone with no problem. It didn't have an impact either. It looked glorious as it stood there as if trying to make an impression on Jackson.

He was scared at first then looked around seeing no one. He touched the spear. His eyes waved with gold and black mana and he dropped his other spear entirely.

He sat mesmerised by it for a minute before beginning his training again.

Julie's windows were now closed

She didn't seem to care at all. But she now focussed, all the mess was cleaned up and now she is writing with new clarity and determination.

A few days ago.

In the ship as the nobility was coming back to the Umbra for the funeral after recovering all they could in the first province of Tristhtan.

In the VC caravel, within a small medical area the only ones in the room were:

Serene lying on a bed, two MRF stuck into her right arm via crystal.

Serene wore a dead expression as she stared forward, her head propped up on a pillow.

Beside her sat Amanda who looked the same direction, her posture up straight.

Both of them were twin sisters.

They stared at a blank wall in complete and empty silence.

Amanda looked more professional while Serene's was depressed.

"What happened to that weak-willed man you betrothed" her voice echoed within the room.

"We got married," Serene, said blankly

Silence

"Very odd, why would you choose to submit to a man—so useless?"

"He's dead." Serene said, her voice somewhat contemplating.

Silence

Amanda cleared her throat "A shame. My statement remains true"

"Marriage is not about power Amanda, it's about love and even deeper than that."

"Prosperous." she scoffed "And tell me. Where did that love leave you—sister."

"I am not in the mood for those antics of yours Amanda."

Amanda glanced at Serene who closed her eyes.

"Though I am glad to hear your voice. Sister."

A light smile tugged at Amanda's face as her eye lingered on Serene dozing off.

They both went quiet.

Back to present near the morning.

Volka was resting in bed, until her door swung open.

Volka almost jumped out of her covers as she panted hard, looking forward to seeing a man with tanned skin and a blind fold sitting on a wooden chair in front of her. She backed up toward the wall, pulling her blankets close around her.

"Volka, long time."

His short, black locked hair looked familiar, she squinted her eyes "I don't know who you are , can you get out. I was taking a nap before training today." Her face was irritated.

He reached his hands up to his blind fold, taking it off revealing beautiful teal eyes, bold black eye brows and long eye lashes. He also had little brown freckles.

"JAVIER?" she said surprised, wanting to go hug him but stopped herself. As shame settled in.

Volka looked away until the words stumbled out of her "i am sorry for—"

"No need. Volka, I forgive you" he smiled.

Volka lifted her head in surprise.

As he continued "I have a new aspiration now. When they kicked out because of you. Fealty picked me up and put him in their ranks and worked my way up, to the rank of a captain!"

"Your a captain?!"

"Yup haha!"

"Wow..." Volka

I was going to be a captain too. Volka thought sadly to herself

Her eyes caught Javier happy face, she listened to him as he continued to talk.

"I may not be part of my idol's order but I instead have the chance to get stronger within the first order ever created, one that she was also a general in and I will soon be too!"

Volka's smile grew.

Javier clasped his hands, his teal eyes glowed passionately. "I will become strong for both our legacies!"

Volka was smiling from ear to ear hearing this. But when she heard donny she stopped

"Both? That reminds me of Donny. Your step brother where is—"

 Javier's smile dropped.

"Dead"

Volka's smile dropped too, speechless.

"It's ok though, I will not disgrace him. He would want me to work hard not cry all day. That means you too, Volka!"

"Yeah, you're right, Javier!"

"Now I would love to catch up with you Javier. But can you get out. I need my sleep and my privacy" Volka said, feeling tiredness creeping on her.

Javier looked at the predicament, standing up "Oh that's right i knocked three times, and you didn't answer so i—"

"Get."

"And then when i opened—" he grabbed the door knob still talking

"Out"

"Musta of been the blindfold! Hehe"

"GET OUT JAVIER!"

He left, shutting the door.

"Don't barge in next time!"

Javier took off immediately.

Volka snuggled back into bed, "This is such a mess. How did it all get like this in one night? Questions ran through her mind

"How did I survive?"

"How will I fight without twitch now? Will I even hold a candle light to the coming enemies?"

The regional masters arrived later that day.(later than expected)

Alcon, regional masters and generals. All sat around wooden roundtable

The middle of the table was carved out and in place it bore the letter V.

Each one of their Seat bore the letter V on a shield.

The generals sat on the left side of the table and the regional master sat on the right side.

Jager Alcon's advisor, stood up behind him.

Everyone was quite tense.

Alcon sat at the top of the table.

His hands clasped together, as he sat his posture bent forward, eyes on the empty seat in front.

"We are missing one person today."

Everyone looked toward the vacant seat.

"This is the reality of our circumstance, because our—" his eyes glanced toward Amanda "My decision to take a step away. It has caused Viscura to allow a necromancer to run rampant within our land."

Amanda nodded.

"So we are here today to discuss plans and I am wanting to hear everyone's view on the matter."

Once Alcon, Jager spoke "Rules are as follows: allow others to speak and take turns. No over speaking. Be loud and pronounced. Keep the conversations on the matter only nothing extra."

Alcon: started "I am sure you all received documents detailing the events and what we know so far?"

One regional master had straight black hair, white strands going through it, his eyes were a soft blue. He wore a black and pastel blue luxury coat. With gold crested buttons that signified Serenity's phoenix rising from the thorns. The coat had fur around his neck area. His skin was a dark brown, with black patches of scales on it. He also had two mini black horns protruding from the top of bushy head.

His light blue eyes bore down on the papers in front of him. "For starters, you say that she could have potentially taken the route for umbra with the VC Caravel earlier but I never got reports of the ship arriving, and neither did you. It only takes 1-2 days to travel over that sea the necromancer should have been raiding, well before you could have rallied the Nobility troops at Trishtan" his strong voice, echoed through the quiet room.

Another regional master spoke, he was shorter than most, being dwarf with a bushy grey beard and olive skin colour, his hair was grey with patches of ginger and some strands were braided.

"We can definitely assume that she has taken a different route."

"What route?" Alcon questioned

The dwarf took the map on his desk, and drew an outline "I am suspecting round the outline of Umbra it's the only way. She couldn't have gone round the front we would see her. So she went round the back of the region."

"Is her objective to go to the Umbra, couldn't be Aurora could it?" Burgos asked.

A regional master who wore noble attire, his face twitching spoke up "Why not just attack Umbra , it wouldn't make sense to go Aurora"

"No it does make sense, Aurora is full of weaklings, there is barely any protection. Considering how easily the necromancer tore through and wiped out the whole 1st province in Trishtan, I can assume she would have little to no problem tearing through aurora and amassing a bigger army." Amanda said continuing "Then after this she would storm the region of umbra." she added.

"That's true, we should keep in mind that she's currently at a disadvantage in terms of numbers" Rakor said calmly.

"Lets not leave that as truth, instead let us assume she has tricks up her sleeve and expect the worst." Alcon said finally.

Everyone hummed in agreement.

One of the current serenity generals, she was half beastkin. Both of her piercing eyes were different shades of blue. The left was dark and the right was light. She wore dark blue mage robes that draped down her. She also had dark brown scruffy long hair. Around her neck was a bone infused metal necklace with a round blue crystal embedded at the end.

"How about the devourer—no?"

Everyone looked towards her.

"That's brillant…" Alcon said "The necromancer is trying to do what the previous necromancer failed to do. Which is to awaken the devourer."

Jager then announced "The verdict is: the necromancer has decided to make her way toward Aurora because of its unprotected state. By using a route away from our eyes. while simultaneously attempting to awake the devourer. Her final goal is to use what army she amasses there along with the devourer to finish off umbra."

The noble regional master's eyes were somewhat annoyed but he remained quiet.

"Now, everyone, we must decide how we will deal with this. To lay it out we need to defend key points. This being Umbra and Aurora. Broadly this is what we must defend. Be reminded that necromancers are smart so we don't want to underestimate this type of enemy." Alcon said.

"I can handle umbra by myself."

"Don't grow arrogant Aragon." Burgos spoke,

"I am not being arrogant, General Burgos. Just because you took me down when I was a criminal doesn't mean you speak to me in such a manner—Don't forget we hold the same level of authority now." Aragon spoke clearly and dismissively, his scales twitching on his straight face, his eyes sharpening as he spoke.

Burgos just stared at Aragon in irritation. Aragon stared back, his beastly nature showing upon his face though he was fully regal.

"He's not wrong, Aragon don't get so confident and think you can handle it yourself. For all we know he could go for umbra instead. So we must be vigilant on both sides." Rakor added.

Aragon folded his arms, his beast-like features calming down.

"I want to be at the front lines against necromancers, forces so I will guard the cave." Amanda said

"I will take on the task of manning each settlement with proper defences and infantry." Burgos said

"I will divide my forces between Umbra and Aurora. Protecting major settlements and bolstering fighting forces on all sides with my soldiers." Rakor said

"My order of serenity will be the main force helping umbra, we will also send boats at sea and keep people on watch at the edges."

Aragon nodded at this.

The dwarf regional master nodded as well.

Alcon nodded at all of this, impressed almost.

You can't tell me Viscura didn't grow on its own. He glanced at Amanda.

It seemed everyone had decided.

"It seems we have come to another verdict—"

"No!" the noble regional master chimed in "how about Tourian? You can't tell me we are going to leave it unguarded. You must bolster its defences too."

"Why would we?" Burgos said.

"Yes, we would be stretching ourselves too thin at that point." Aragon said.

"The necromancer clearly only has two options, Umbra or Aurora" Rakor said

"What are you all saying, we need to make sure everyone is safe don't we?"

"Yes we will be, every soldier currently within Tourian, will remain there and if the necromancer does do something this time, we will make sure to alert everyone else." The dwarf spoke up

"Sekar? That's your own region, are you seriously abandoning them?!"

"No, I just understand the situation, Charlie."

"Regional master, you should stop trying to take the focus off Aurora." Rakor said politely

But Charlie slammed his hand on the table "No I won't take this proposal. I won't allow you barbarians to just step all over my region and cause disruption to the peace I have created."

"Are you mad!" Amanda shouted

Everyone looked surprised at Amanda's outburst.

"Sit down you blubbering fool, no one cares for your region full of idiocracy!" she continued.

"How dare you talk to me in that manner, I shall have you slain!"

"Is that, the `true` noble in you coming out!" Amanda clapped back immediately raising from her seat—

"Enock!" Jager said in tongue ancient

Amanda smirked as she sat down.

Maybe not Alcon thought as Amanda shot a mocking glance at him.

The regional master Charlie dusted himself off and sat.

Alcon shook his head "listen I understand Charlie that Aurora has made its own decision, `to be free of settlement enforcement` which is fine. We had discussed this prior to it happening years ago and I have been staying there myself. Things always feel safe and I have never had to complain."

"Your point leader" Jager nudged him.

"Yes yes—What I am saying is that Charlie you need to stop being so ignorant and see it for what it is. This situation is dire and we need to act on a plan. So put all your personal feelings aside."

Charlie sighed "Fine. Go on ahead"

"Thank you and I promise you when we finish we will vacate the region and things can go back to normal but until then I need you to be very cooperative with everyone no matter what it is. This is important."

"Thee verdict—"

Alcon raised his hand to stop Jager

"It's ok, let me. " he cleared his throat "First and foremost I expect cooperation with the people of Viscura not just making people obey. Yes you all have authority but you must use it wisely and be considerate while doing so. Second: generals, I trust you will handle linguistics. And regional masters keep your region together as anything can happen. Especially yours, Charlie. Finally a reminder to work closely together with each other and the people."

Alcon then took a minute to breathe, then spoke again.

"Does everyone understand what must be done! If so say yea"

Everyone said in union "yea"

"Does anyone have any further objections that haven't been discussed."

"Nay"

"Now then I want everyone to move out. I wish you all the best."

Everyone leaves promptly.

Leaving Jager and Alcon alone.

"You could have let me do it myself but alas—"

"It doesn't matter, no one would want to stay here that long. It was better my way.."

"What will you do, I realised you never stated what your role is."

"I will keep tabs on the battlefield and everyone must inform me of their statuses and I am planning on gathering information from people who survived."

Jager nodded.

Outside both beastkin walked side by side.

"We managed to contain the situation."

"Yes, barely I am going to have to get into contact with them. I don't know why they decided to cause such a mess. And ruin our perfect partnership."

"Father, they could find the underground."

"Don't worry Ventrix, I have two plans. It's either we attempt to wipe out the underground right now and save ourselves from a tarnished reputation and maybe death unless I can win over Alcon's sympathy which will allow me to keep my position or we put all our efforts into winning the war and blame it solely on them. And again hope he has mercy.

"Or we could do both."

"That's true. Very smart Ventrix. Just like your late mother huh?"

He gives her a side hug, "thank you father!"

They both leave the castle.

Later that night.

At Julie's door, a sigil was written on it.

From inside loud grunts of anguish echoed throughout the room.

Along with rhythmic singing, in ancient tongues.

♪Bero—beroa!, beroooo

beroaaaa, awraaa is laks berooo!♪

Repeated.

A man's face, covered with a mask.

His straight hair was tied in a bun with hair also coming down his sides.

The ends of his black hair was coloured a ginger.

His eyes were black he didn't blink not once. He wore noble type clothing.

As Julie laid in her bed which was stained with sweat, her shirt was lifted up half way.

An apparition of her soul body was shown in front of him, his head up as he looked unblinkingly.

He held two metal rods with wooden handles and Sigils embedded on both.

Mana surrounded them, he stabbed them into her stomach and they phased through.

She screamed. As he whisked them around in her body.

The apparition showed a half-finished glyph, which kept drawing itself slowly the more he whisked his hands.

Julie's whole body was shaking in pain, "ahhh! stop!"

The man chuckled his eyes, never leaving the apparition "Trosea far ofew?"

"YES IT DOES HURT YOU DAMN LUNATIC!"

"Kekekke!" he laughed even more.

The glyph was almost completely done.

"OKE! Thobra thobra micphew" he laughed again.

"I am calm dammit! Stop laughing!!!"

After an hour more of pain he had finished. Throwing the rods which looked rusted now on the desk.

He brought down his mouth mask, revealing two scars that went through his mouth that allowed his sharp teeth to be shown more.

"Sa galdo please" he stretched his hand bearing his teeth.

Julie was on cusp of passing out when she heard this.

A vein twitched and she smacked his hand away.

"Shut it!"

He held his hand that she slapped.

The sudden movement caused even more pain. "Talk normal uncle!"

"I only wanted a little bit of gold, KEKE!"

"Anyway I gave you what you wrote to me for, you have never gotten a soul rune before, so let me remind you make sure you don't use it until it's fully assimilated no matter what you feel or you could die. Usually it takes a few days to a month to get one of these assimilated but luckily you have me it should be done in 2-4 days. I would wait the 4 days just to be safe and don't exert your-self so no doing any blacksmithing alright Julie!"

He pulled her ear but she didn't respond. Her body had grown noticeably pale and she wasn't moving except for her chest which rose with her breathing.

"This is the third rune we have done. I did one on your body to start and two on your soul to finish. You have been very resilient not many make it past one. Especially on the soul. Poor girl. Anyway, need me for anything, I'm going to be here for a day or two. Before departing for sorenerios so don't be afraid to call me back."

Julie just moaned, consciousness fading.

He widened, his smile was threatening. You have a grown niece.

Magical and ancient words left his mouth

"Ethereisois…" An ethereal light manifested over Julie's exhausted body… "Vita"

Her skin is slowly revitalised and her strength seemed to return.

The spell fizzled out.

Then her uncle pulled her blanket on and covered her up nicely.

"Master."

At the doorway pastel appeared, opening the door for him.

As he walked out. Rakira also their waiting "Master"

He merely walked by both of them as they bowed and continued down the whole way.

They followed pastel hands behind her back with a jolly smile on her lips.

Rakira walked with a straight face.

The man walked down the corridor, "Time to meet them."
