Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Ten Years Later, A New Class

Half an hour later.

Naobito Zenin summoned all the sorcerers in the clan who weren't out on duty.

"The news about the subjugation of Mahoraga is not to be leaked. Everything that happened tonight, keep it buried deep inside."

"One more thing. This is a direct order from that boy himself. You all know the consequences of disobedience."

The moment his voice fell, a chill ran down the spines of everyone present. They nodded repeatedly, fear written across their faces.

"And not just you. Even the servants who heard the noise tonight... will need to be dealt with."

Naobito didn't mean silencing them by death.

There were sorcerers in the clan capable of wiping out a day's worth of memories—but only for ordinary humans.

They couldn't alter memory—just induce a temporary amnesia-like blank spot in time.

For jujutsu sorcerers, however, it was far harder. Even if successful, the memory could return at any moment.

That was why Naobito's warning to the sorcerers was only verbal.

But with Mirai's authority behind it, none of them would dare speak out carelessly.

Meanwhile, at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Shoko Ieiri, just finishing her training in the infirmary, was heading back to her quarters to rest.

As she passed through the long hallway, she spotted two men sitting on the steps at the school's main gate.

One was Gojo Satoru, the walking disaster.

The other, Yaga Masamichi, their teacher.

After hesitating a moment, Shoko walked over.

Out of habit, she reached into her pocket for a cigarette. But catching sight of Yaga's back, she silently switched hands and pulled out a lollipop instead.

"What's this? Still brooding over your friend's departure?"

Gojo looked over his shoulder. "Oh, it's you, Shoko."

She sat one step above them and asked casually, "What are you two talking about?"

Gojo propped his chin in his palm. His expression held a rare trace of maturity.

"I was thinking... maybe being the strongest alone isn't enough."

Shoko stared flatly. "Speak human."

"I've decided. After graduation, I'm gonna become a teacher here."

"You?"

Shoko raised an eyebrow. "You've already terrorized the teachers, and now you plan to ruin the next generation?"

"Ah, what?!"

Gojo clenched his fists in protest. "Why do you have so little faith in me?"

"I'm confident I'll become the perfect teacher in every student's eyes."

"What about your clan?" Yaga asked in a calm but serious tone.

"Not my problem."

Gojo waved dismissively, a confident smirk on his lips. "As long as I'm alive, the Gojo Clan won't have any problems."

"Oh right, Shoko," he added, glancing at her and her lollipop. "What's your take on the new head of the Zenin Clan?"

Gojo hadn't forgotten what Suguru Geto said before he left. It had been bothering him ever since.

Even Yaga perked up. The Zenin Clan's new head, only eleven years old at the time—was bound to stir curiosity.

Shoko paused for a moment, then spoke softly. "He's strong."

"In terms of cursed energy alone, he might surpass even you."

"And the cursed spirits under his control... one of them is a Special Grade that's never been documented at Jujutsu High."

Gojo's eyes widened in surprise.

Over the phone, Shoko had only rushed him to arrive, she hadn't gone into detail. He didn't expect her to rate that kid so highly.

"Don't your Big Three Clans have intel on him?" Yaga asked, now visibly serious. A Special Grade spirit with no record, that was no small matter.

"Ordinary people can't see curses," Gojo replied, tone calm. "Even as the Big Three, it's not easy to infiltrate the sorcerers of another clan."

"The public intel says he awakened the Ten Shadows Technique. That was announced when Naobito Zenin stepped down."

"As for the new Clan Head's background... we've heard quite a bit from the lower-ranking Zenin family members."

At that, Gojo paused, expression turning grim.

"The night before Naobito stepped down... that kid killed his own father inside the estate."

Zenin Estate, ten years later.

Ten years had passed since the subjugation of Mahoraga.

The once slightly immature young Clan Head was now twenty years old.

His messy black hair hung loosely over his shoulders, his fringe just long enough to hide his forehead, revealing only a pair of deep, unfathomable eyes.

He wore a pure black yukata, lounging casually against a doorframe. Calmly, Zenin Mirai flipped through the notebook in his hands.

"Oi~, so when are we gonna go out and have some fun?"

"I'm sick of this place. It's boring."

The voice came from someone cloaked in black, grumbling as they walked over.

Mirai glanced up, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Relax. We'll be changing locations soon."

"For real, Mirai?! You're finally leaving the house?!"

Seeing him nod, the figure leapt with glee.

"Yay~!"

Their black robe fluttered as they jumped, red clouds embroidered across the fabric swaying with the motion.

Their skin was snow-white—an unnatural paleness. An existence invisible to ordinary humans.

Moments later.

A sorcerer approached respectfully, holding a report in his hands.

He didn't react at all to the cursed spirit hopping around beside the Clan Head. It seemed like a regular sight by now.

"Clan Head."

Mirai took the document with a slight nod.

Scanning it casually, he found the contents matched perfectly with the open page in his notebook.

"Jujutsu Timeline: Year 2017 – The Pure Love Warrior."

"Mirai, where are we going to play?"

"I was thinking... how about we go to school?"

"School?"

"Cursed spirits can go to school?"

Mirai chuckled. "I'm taking you to Maki's school."

"What do you think, White Zetsu?"

White Zetsu blinked in surprise. "Sure!"

"I haven't seen Maki in ages. I kinda miss her too."

Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High

"Where is everyone?"

In the classroom, Maki leaned on one hand, clearly annoyed. "That idiot with the blindfold is way too unreliable."

Wearing the standard white uniform with wide sleeves, Yuta Okkotsu nodded quietly beside her.

They were told to meet at 8 a.m. It was now past 9, and their teacher, Gojo Satoru, still hadn't shown up.

"Salmon."

The curse speech user Toge Inumaki gave his comment with a nod of agreement.

"Don't be impatient. I think the higher-ups are making an announcement today."

Panda glanced cautiously out the window and whispered, "I heard a rumor. Jujutsu High might be opening another class."

"That's probably why Gojo-sensei's late."

"A new class?"

The three of them were stunned by the scoop.

Jujutsu High didn't have many students. Gojo was the only teacher right now.

Was there really a need to open another class?

"BANG!"

Before anyone could ask more, the classroom door swung open.

"Sorry, sorry!"

Despite his apology, Gojo Satoru's bright grin didn't carry a hint of guilt.

"Gojo-sensei, is it true the school's opening another class?"

Gojo looked at Panda with a raised brow, then smiled knowingly. "So you've been eavesdropping on the principal again?"

Panda, being a cursed corpse created by Yaga, often overheard insider news since they lived together.

Seeing the curiosity on everyone's faces, Gojo finally nodded. "That's right."

Maki looked surprised. "So... new students, and a new teacher?"

"Correct."

Gojo nodded, lips curling into a cheeky grin. "And the new teacher..."

"Is someone you know well, Maki~."
