Chapter 81 - CH 80 :Z Fighters Lost! : The Last Hope

Rudra's breathing slowed as the echo of his meditation faded inside the chamber. His body had finally adapted—ten times gravity no longer crushed his muscles, the erratic temperatures no longer sickened him, and the void's strange atmosphere had become fuel for his spirit. Eight months of relentless struggle had carved away weakness, leaving behind a form both hardened and enlightened.

In his trance, Rudra's consciousness drifted into the White Space—a place where reality bent into endless possibilities. From there, he stepped into a jungle dimension, thick with life-force. The chamber's shifting portals had been designed to test warriors with alternate realities, but Rudra had discovered something beyond training. Each environment was saturated with chakra, the subtle energy that breathed through existence itself.

He spread his palms across the earth, feeling the jungle's pulse. The rhythm of insects, the whisper of leaves, even the flow of underground water—it was all energy. He drew it into himself, letting it spiral through his being.

"Muladhara…" Rudra whispered. The Root Chakra blazed within him, glowing crimson at the base of his spine. It was no longer hollow, no longer yearning. It was overflowing, dense with power.

For a moment, he felt invincible.

For a moment, he believed he could continue climbing the path—unlocking the next chakra, the next stage of transcendence.

But before his focus could sharpen, a voice cut through his meditation. Urgent, heavy with despair.

Kami's voice.

"Rudra… Earth is in danger."

The words snapped his eyes open. The jungle dissolved around him, replaced once again by the chamber's shifting void.

"Piccolo… and Krillin… they've fallen." Kami's tone was grave, nearly breaking. "Raditz and Nappa are barely holding on. And now… even Goku and Vegeta stand powerless. Frieza's final form… It's beyond anything we could have imagined."

The chamber trembled faintly, as though reacting to Kami's desperate plea.

"You are the last one, Rudra. Earth's final hope. If you delay even a moment longer, nothing will remain."

Rudra's fists tightened. His eight months of training suddenly felt like drops against an ocean. He wanted more time—time to strengthen, time to climb to the next chakra stage, time to ensure he would not fail. But time was the one thing Earth no longer had.

He rose to his feet, body trembling with both power and urgency.

"Eight months… and this is all I could forge." He clenched his jaw. "No more waiting."

The chamber's gate rippled open at his command. A blinding light swallowed him, and within a heartbeat, Rudra was expelled back into the physical realm.

The Outside World

The air outside the chamber was thick with death. Rudra could feel it instantly—the fading ki signatures, the overwhelming dominance of one monstrous power. Frieza.

"Piccolo… Krillin…" Rudra whispered as he scanned the void where their energy had once been. Gone. The pain pierced him, but there was no time to mourn.

Far away, two fragile flames—Raditz and Nappa—flickered weakly, nearly extinguished. Beyond them, the battle raged. Two fierce sparks—Goku and Vegeta—burned desperately, but their light was smothered beneath a crushing force that dwarfed everything else.

That force… cold, precise, merciless.

Frieza's final form.

"Damn it." Rudra's teeth ground together. "If even Goku and Vegeta can't stand against him…"

For the first time since he had begun training, Rudra felt fear. Not fear for himself, but fear of failing the very purpose for which he had endured the chamber. He could not allow hesitation. He could not allow weakness.

He lifted his palm and gathered energy. The chakra he had absorbed flared, spinning around him in radiant currents. His ki was heavier, denser than before, yet still untested against a being like Frieza.

"Eight months…" he muttered again, staring at his trembling hand. "This has to be enough."

---

Kami's Call

"Rudra!" Kami's voice echoed once more, this time inside his mind.

"I hear you," Rudra answered. His tone carried no hesitation now, only resolve.

"You must hurry. Goku and Vegeta cannot last."

"I'm coming." Rudra straightened his back, his aura flaring crimson with sparks of white threading through it. His Root Chakra pulsed, grounding him.

Then, with a single step, Rudra launched into the sky—breaking the sound barrier as he surged toward the battlefield.

---

On the Battlefield

Frieza stood at the center of devastation, his sleek, final form gleaming under the fractured skies. His tail swayed lazily, as though mocking the efforts of those who had tried to resist him.

Before him, Goku's body was battered, Vegeta's pride shattered. Both warriors bled heavily, yet their eyes burned with defiance.

"Is this all?" Frieza's cold voice pierced the air. "The so-called Saiyan pride? Pathetic."

He raised a single finger, ki condensing into a bright sphere of death.

In that instant, Rudra arrived.

The sphere shot forward—aimed to end Vegeta once and for all. But before it could strike, a crimson streak blazed across the battlefield. Rudra's fist, glowing with the force of his Root Chakra, smashed into the attack, shattering it into harmless fragments of light.

The ground trembled. Dust whirled. Silence fell.

Goku's eyes widened. Vegeta's jaw dropped. Even Frieza's smirk faltered for a brief moment.

"Who…?" Frieza's eyes narrowed at the figure standing between him and the broken Saiyans.

Rudra straightened, his aura flaring like wildfire, his gaze locked on Frieza.

"I am Rudra," he declared, his voice carrying across the battlefield. "And I will not let you destroy this world."

---

For Goku and Vegeta, the sudden arrival of this warrior was like a breath pulled from drowning lungs. They could feel his power—it wasn't Saiyan, it wasn't Namekian. It was something else, something deeper.

"Rudra…" Goku whispered. A faint smile tugged at his bloodied lips. "So… you've been training too, huh?"

Vegeta scoffed, but his eyes betrayed his astonishment. "Tch. Another fool who thinks he can challenge a god."

Frieza tilted his head, regaining his composure. His lips curled back into that cruel, familiar grin.

"Hmm..so you are that Rudra, who defeated Ginyu Force along with all of my forces at the headquarter. Huh! " He spread his arms. "Very Well! Show me that unknown power, and entertainment me , insect!!"

Rudra inhaled deeply, steadying himself. Inside, his fear wrestled with resolve. This was no sparring match, no training simulation. This was life or death—his first true test against the universe's greatest tyrant.

But he could feel the weight of Earth pressing on his shoulders, the hopes of Kami, the sacrifices of Piccolo, Krillin, and countless others. He could not falter.

He planted his feet, aura blazing brighter, the Root Chakra at his core anchoring him.

"This ends here, Frieza," Rudra declared. "Not for glory. Not for pride. But for every life you've trampled."

And with that, the battlefield quaked as Rudra charged forward—his battle against Frieza, Earth's final hope, about to begin.
