Chapter 71 - CH 71 :Frieza’s Wrath, Earth in Sight

In the depths of space, aboard his colossal command ship, Lord Frieza reclined upon his hovering throne, a glass of crimson wine balanced delicately in his clawed hand. The stars outside shimmered like jewels, each one representing another world ripe for conquest—or destruction.

His golden eyes narrowed with amusement as a holographic projection displayed one of the nearby planets crumbling under the assault of his army. Screams echoed faintly through the communicator, the last cries of a civilization snuffed out like embers.

Frieza chuckled softly.

"Pathetic. Watching the weak flail in the jaws of the strong never fails to entertain."

The chamber was silent, save for the faint hum of the ship's engines, until Zarbon entered hurriedly, his usually calm composure broken by visible panic. He dropped to one knee.

"Lord Frieza… I bring troubling news."

Frieza's smile faded instantly. His tail flicked like a whip behind him.

"Zarbon," he said coolly, "you know how much I detest troubling news. Speak carefully."

Zarbon swallowed, his voice shaking.

"It is about the Ginyu Force… They were engaged in battle at your primary outpost… and, my lord, they were defeated. The base was destroyed completely. The intruder is… beyond anything we anticipated."

For a moment, silence. Then Frieza's glass shattered in his hand, crimson liquid dripping like blood onto the floor.

"Defeated?" His voice was soft, yet each word dripped with venom. "The Ginyu Force—my elite, my most reliable hounds—defeated by a single opponent?"

Zarbon hesitated, then continued, knowing hesitation might anger Frieza more.

"Yes, my lord. The survivors of the telepathic messenger clan you once spared… they transmitted the report directly to me. The battle was witnessed by thousands. The name of the intruder… is Rudra."

Frieza's eyes gleamed with icy rage. He rose from his throne, aura flaring faintly around him.

"Rudra…" He spoke the name slowly, tasting it like poison. "And what else do they say of this… Rudra?"

Zarbon's voice trembled.

"He wields both Ki and… something else. A strange power, one not recorded by the Scouters. But my lord… the most shocking part… he is not from some distant world. He is from Earth."

The word hung in the air like a curse.

Frieza stopped moving. His golden eyes widened slightly, then narrowed into slits.

"Earth?" he whispered. Then, louder, his voice echoing through the chamber, "Earth?!"

The room shook as his rage erupted. With a wave of his hand, a nearby console exploded into sparks, sending technicians fleeing in terror.

"How dare some insignificant planet breed a warrior who dares oppose me!" Frieza snarled. "That miserable little rock has already been the source of far too much irritation… Saiyans… and now this Rudra!"

His tail lashed, striking the ground with a crack. He turned to Zarbon, his expression calm again but infinitely more terrifying.

"Set our course for Earth. Immediately. I want every engine burning, every resource directed to our advance. We will arrive within days."

Zarbon bowed deeply. "At once, Lord Frieza. Earth lies only five solar systems away. We can reach it swiftly."

But Frieza was not finished. He leaned down, eyes glowing with sadistic delight.

"And send word to all my fleets scattered across the galaxies. I want them converging on Earth. Not one corner of that planet will remain untouched. If this Rudra thinks he can humiliate me by destroying my forces… then I will make his entire world bleed for it. I will wipe out every last one of them, down to the soil itself."

Zarbon felt a shiver run through him. He had seen Frieza's wrath before—but never like this. This was not merely conquest. This was vengeance.

The telepathic messenger, still linked through psychic connection, dared to speak into Zarbon's mind:

"We have sent all the details, as you commanded. But beware… Rudra's strength grows with every battle. If Lord Frieza underestimates him, the consequences—"

The voice cut off with a scream as Frieza, sensing the transmission, raised one finger and fired a casual death beam across the cosmos. The messenger's planet lit up briefly on the star map—then vanished.

Frieza sneered.

"Messengers are useful… until they forget their place. Let that be a lesson to the rest."

Zarbon, though horrified, kept his head bowed low.

"Yes, my lord."

Frieza returned to his throne, fury replaced by an eerie calm. He closed his eyes, a cruel smile curling on his lips.

"Earth… I will enjoy this. First Rudra. Then any fool who dares rise from that wretched planet. When I am finished, the galaxy will remember the name Frieza not as a ruler… but as inevitable annihilation itself."

The ship's engines roared, the stars shifting as the mighty vessel turned toward its new prey. Behind them, countless fleets received their orders and began converging, dark shapes against the cosmos—all bound for the same destination.

Earth.

And though the warriors of Earth celebrated peace for now, unaware of the storm approaching, fate had already set the pieces in motion.

The most dangerous tyrant in the universe was coming.
