Chapter 14 - CH 14 :Goku Vs. Rudra - Battle To Test Strength

The Lookout stood high above the world, pure white tiles gleaming under the morning sun. One by one, the Z Fighters gathered—Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Krillin, Master Roshi, and even Bulma, all waiting with questions burning in their hearts. Goku stood with folded arms, eyes fixed on the sky, while Piccolo remained silent, leaning against a pillar, his sharp gaze unblinking.

And then… Rudra arrived.

He descended gracefully, landing directly in front of Kami. With a calm smile, he pressed his palms together and bowed deeply.

"Namaste, Kami-sama."

The gesture stunned everyone. The Z Fighters exchanged confused glances. They were accustomed to bows or simple greetings influenced by their culture, but this man greeted in a way completely foreign to them.

Yamcha scratched the back of his head. "Uh… what was that?"

Tien narrowed his eyes. "He's definitely from another land… maybe even another continent. That explains why he's so different from us."

Chiaotzu nodded timidly, whispering, "Strange… but kind of respectful."

Rudra smiled faintly, but inside his heart was pounding. He had to play this carefully. Every word needed to be believable—a perfect mix of truth and lies. If he revealed too much, he'd expose himself. If he told too little, they'd never trust him.

He turned, facing all of them at once—Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Roshi, Bulma, Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha. Their eyes bore into him, waiting.

Rudra spoke with a calm, almost rehearsed tone:

"You must have heard of Naruto comics, right? Well…" he smiled faintly, "I am the one who wrote it."

Bulma already knew who he was? That's why She didn't said anything.

The room buzzed with whispers. Roshi adjusted his sunglasses, muttering, "A writer, huh? Doesn't look like one."

Piccolo's eyes narrowed. His deep voice cut through the chatter:

"Enough of these stories. Tell us the truth. What is the secret behind your power?"

The air grew tense. Even though no one spoke, everyone silently agreed with Piccolo's demand.

Rudra kept his composure. "My abilities… come from my bloodline. For generations, power has been passed down to me. I can absorb the energy of others, and not just copy it… I can return it, doubled in strength."

( His lying about his bloodline. )

The words struck the group like thunder. Krillin's jaw dropped. Roshi pushed his shades higher. Even Tien clenched his fists in disbelief.

But before they could respond, Rudra abruptly shifted the subject. His tone became sharp:

"…By the way… where is Raditz?"

Kami finally spoke, his voice calm yet heavy.

"I sealed him. Temporarily. He cannot cause any more trouble… for now."

Rudra let out a deep breath, relief flooding him.

Good… yesterday I almost forgot about him.

But Goku stepped forward, his usual innocence laced with curiosity.

"Hey, Rudra… just how strong are you, really? 'Cause honestly, I don't get half of what you're saying."

Everyone leaned forward. This was the question burning in all of their minds.

Rudra's lips curled into a smile. His words dripped with confidence:

"I am strong enough… to defeat all of you, and even those aliens who are a hundred times stronger than Raditz… not once, but a hundred times over."

Everyone was left stunned by Rudra's fearless declaration.

"I'm strong enough to defeat all of you… and even those aliens a hundred times stronger than Raditz— not once, but a hundred times over!"

The air went still. Krillin's jaw dropped, Yamcha clenched his fist in disbelief, and even Piccolo narrowed his eyes, his antenna twitching with unease.

But Goku… Goku only grinned.

Without hesitation, he slid his right foot back, bent his knees, and clenched his fists, his entire aura subtly flaring.

"Then let me test if you're really carrying that weight, Rudra!"

The atmosphere shifted instantly. Leaves rustled from the sudden burst of ki.

Rudra smirked, lowering his stance as well.

"Alright… if that's what you want."

The two stared at each other, and in the next heartbeat— they vanished.

---

The Clash

A thunderous shockwave exploded across the Lookout as Rudra and Goku collided in the middle. Their fists met with such force that Kami's platform trembled under their might.

"W-what speed!" Tien shouted, barely able to track them with his sharp eyes.

Goku's attacks came in waves— fast punches, spinning kicks, sudden dashes. He was testing Rudra's defenses, measuring him carefully.

Rudra blocked, deflected, and countered with uncanny precision. His movements weren't just fast— they carried a strange rhythm, almost unpredictable, like a fighter who had studied not one, but countless martial arts forms.

"Not bad!" Goku laughed mid-battle, twisting into the air for a downward kick.

Rudra caught his leg with one hand, yanked him forward, and slammed his fist into Goku's chest, sending him skidding across the tiles.

"Goku!" Krillin shouted.

But Goku only coughed, grinned again, and dashed back in with more power.

---

Raising the Stakes

As the fight intensified, bursts of ki flared from both sides.

Each clash of fist and palm echoed like thunder.

Goku suddenly leaped back, cupping his hands at his side.

Everyone instantly recognized the stance.

"Kaaa… meee…"

The air vibrated as energy collected between his palms.

Rudra's eyes gleamed. This is it. The moment to show them.

"Haaa… meee…"

Blue-white light surged, and Goku thrust his arms forward.

"HAAAAA!"

The Kamehameha wave roared like a tsunami, racing across the Lookout toward Rudra.

Everyone gasped— none of them expected Goku to go this far in a test.

But Rudra only extended his arms outward, palms wide open.

The beam slammed into him with earth-shaking force— but instead of blasting him away, the energy began to swirl around his body, getting sucked into his very being like a vortex.

"What the—!?" Yamcha yelled.

"He's… absorbing it!?" Piccolo's eyes widened, realizing Rudra wasn't bluffing about his bloodline power.

The Kamehameha disappeared entirely, vanishing into Rudra's body. His aura erupted, glowing blue-white with borrowed energy.

Rudra tilted his head, smirking at the stunned Goku.

"My turn."

He thrust his hand forward, releasing the same Kamehameha, but magnified— the beam was wider, brighter, and twice as ferocious.

The massive wave of blue light, rebounding from Rudra's palms, screamed across the Lookout. Goku's eyes widened as his own technique came flying back toward him, doubled in size and intensity.

"Wha—?! That's my Kamehameha… but stronger!"

With lightning-fast reflexes, Goku vanished, flickering out of sight with his Instant Rush Movement. The beam crashed into the white tiles of the Lookout, shaking the very foundation. Cracks spread like veins through the floor, and the Z Fighters shielded themselves from the blinding explosion.

Krillin yelled, "Kami-sama! The whole Lookout might collapse at this rate!"

But Kami stood firm, watching with narrowed eyes. This man, Rudra… he's no ordinary being. His power isn't just strength—it's something else entirely.

---

High above, Goku reappeared mid-air, his aura flaring golden-white as he panted lightly.

"You weren't kidding, Rudra… you really can absorb energy. That's crazy!"

Rudra smirked, tilting his head casually.

"I told you. My bloodline carries this gift. Whatever I take in… I make it mine."

( His clearly lying. )

He raised a hand, taunting.

"Care to try again, Son Goku?"

---

With a grin, Goku launched forward, fists blazing. He loved this—the test of pure battle spirit. Their fists collided in a thunderous impact that sent shockwaves through the skies. Every punch was fast enough to blur, every kick strong enough to split the air.

Piccolo, arms crossed, observed coldly.

"Goku's giving his all, but… Rudra isn't even fighting seriously. He's learning him."

Tien clenched his fists. "No… he's copying him."

---

The battle escalated. Goku spun into a furious barrage of strikes, landing a heavy kick to Rudra's ribs. The force sent Rudra crashing into one of the tall Lookout pillars, shattering it like paper. Dust filled the air.

But as the smoke cleared, Rudra emerged—completely unscathed. He brushed dust from his shoulder and chuckled.

"Not bad. You actually made me feel that one. But now… let me show you what happens when I return the favor."

Before Goku could react, Rudra blurred forward, his fist slamming into Goku's gut with the exact same angle and pressure Goku had used moments ago. Goku coughed, doubling over, eyes wide.

"H-He used my own attack… against me?!"

---

Krillin shouted from the sidelines, "He's like a mirror! Every move Goku makes—Rudra throws it back twice as hard!"

Bulma's voice trembled, half in awe and half in fear.

"If he really is this strong… is he a friend? Or another nightmare?"

---

In mid-air, Goku forced himself upright, wiping blood from his lip, but smiling fiercely.

"This is awesome! You're the first guy in a long time who made me push this far. But let's see how you handle this!"

Goku pulled both hands back, gathering immense ki.

"KA… MEEE… HAAA… MEEE—"

Rudra raised an eyebrow.

"Again? Didn't you learn your lesson?"

"—HAAAAA!"

The beam roared forward, massive and blinding, shaking the heavens.

But Rudra only grinned. He extended both palms, absorbing the torrent of energy like a sponge drinking water. His veins glowed, his body humming with power until his aura burned crimson-gold.

Goku's jaw dropped. "He… took it all… again?!"

---

Rudra's eyes flashed dangerously.

"Your power… it tastes exhilarating. Now let me show you its true form."

He thrust his palms forward, unleashing a Kamehameha identical to Goku's—but magnified, wilder, and darker. The beam tore across the skies straight at Goku.

Goku braced, crossing his arms, but the impact overwhelmed him, blasting him down onto the Lookout with a thunderous crash. Tiles shattered, dust clouds rose, and silence filled the air.

The Z Fighters gasped.

Roshi whispered, "…that wasn't Goku's Kamehameha anymore. That was something else. Rudra's power… it's terrifying."

---

Through the rubble, Goku slowly pushed himself up, battered but still smiling. His gi was torn, his body bruised.

"Heh… you're incredible, Rudra. Stronger than anyone I've faced yet."

Rudra walked closer, his aura still crackling like a storm, but his expression softened just slightly.

"And yet… you still smile. You're either a fool… or truly one of a kind."

Kami finally stepped forward, his staff trembling.

"Enough! This battle has gone too far. Rudra, if your claims are true—that enemies a hundred times stronger than Raditz are coming—then we cannot waste time destroying each other!"

The words hung heavy in the air. Even Rudra paused, lowering his hands.

Goku straightened, wiping his mouth, and looked Rudra in the eye.

"Then let's train. Together. If you're really on our side… prove it."

Rudra smirked faintly, hiding his relief.

"Fine. But don't forget… I don't fight to lose."
