Curiously , I decided to hear what was happening, I know they didn't think I would be able to hear them and that's why they don't take precautions whenever am near. Most of the people in the pack speak very close to me . They knew my hearing abilities wasn't the best which would come in handy now.
"Your Majesty, Arya is still part of our pack so she has to abide by the rules. We haven't signed the contract yet," Kory stated.
Wait, what contract? They sold me? I knew they traded me for power, but a contract! That states I'm an object.
" Alpha Kory, I don't see how this is any of your business, but if you may know; that contract was just a formality. She's mine. She's my breeder, and any heir she produces are only mine. No relationship from these pack is going to come from the these acquisition. Kaid said.
The king.....he bought me. I knew he wanted a breeder and he explained that to me already but he never once told me he bought me. He was willing to pay, if I wasn't his mate I would have been screwed. I didn't want to hear anything. Starting tomorrow, I must look for a way to escape these pack and the king. I'm not for sale.
"Arya, this could all be a misunderstanding, you should ask kaid what's going on first," Asira interjected.
She could be right. Asira made kaid seem like a prince charming . The one who would save from these pack. I knew that she hoped that everything happening wasn't real, but it was. Kaid only wants me as a breeder.
"Common...Asira, we both heard them; in fact kaid is even worse. He presented himself as someone who's nice - by the way he wasn't forced just to buy me. I can't be with someone like that," I said while my heart broke.
I trusted him. I somehow wanted to believe I could be happy again but what did he do? He says one thing to me and another to everyone else.
" If what you think is true, then...why does Kory, christabel and Alpha Daston what you to pretend to become his breeder at your own free will? If kaid wanted a breeder then, it's because he didn't want someone after the throne, he wanted his son to be the only heir." Asira said.
What she said might be true but that doesn't justify his statement. He has twice now that I'm his property. He didn't even refer to me being part of his pack. I was his PROPERTY. That is treating me like an object, not even once but twice , which isn't justifiable. Furthermore, if he wanted to explain something to me , he should make everything else wait for a damn second and sit with me to talk. But no! He let everyone come in as they please, leaving me with zero information.
I was pacing around the room, thinking of what I heard and what to do when kaid and Kory entered the room. Kaid looked really pissed; his powerful aura emanated and the air the room shift to something heavier. It looked like he wanted to kill Kory while Kory seem oblivious to the fact that the king wants to hang his head to a stick.
"Arya, it has been brought to my attention that you broke a pack rule ; by attacking the future Luna," kaid said.
Kory smirked at that moment, staring straight into my eyeballs . He knew it was true, I had attacked christabel several times and he knew the reason that I have nothing to prove except for my word, which is nothing compared to an Alpha word. F*****g christabel , she always finds a way to screw me up. Well...if he thinks I'm going to be his puppet then he's wrong as hell.
"I did. I have no justification; in fact I was at the dungeon but I was released when I made a deal with the future Luna." I said with my head high staring straight into kaid's eye.
As I did , I could see the smirk on Kory's face vanish. That's right, asshole, your going down with me . Even if it wasn't entirely through, it is still believable. As I looked at kaid, I could see the confusion in his eyes. He didn't have to ask me to continue ; I wanted to bury Kory completely.
" I had to become your majesty breeder, so no harm would come to me and my friend," in return, they would give me my freedom, I continued.
" So.... You were coerced into this," kaid stated. His jaw tightened as his anger increased . He looked at Kory; at that point smoke came out of his ear. He's fuming.
" You told me she was doing this on her own free will, I'm going to ask you one last time. Did Arya accept this deal because she wanted to or did you guys do something to make her accept it?" Kaid asked with a low, emanacing voice.
Kory looked at me as he thought of what to say. If he thought I would remain silent and let him think of another lie then he has thought wrong.
"Your Majesty," Kory wanted to talk but was immediately interrupted by dangerous growl.
Tell me the truth! If you lie to me again I would rip your title off. You're going to f******g become an omega. Is that clear? Kaid said, almost yelling at Kory's face. When Kory refused to speak, it was the same as admitting he coerced me into accepting deal. That is all I need to hear, Alpha Kory , from now on Arya does not belong to your pack any longer. Now she's under my protection as you treat your pack members as pawn. During my reign, forcing anyone to accept any kind of deal is unacceptable. Especially if it brings something to you that's not beneficial to the other party," kaid stated.
His face stoic and solemn, like a true king I couldn't help but admire him. He was extraordinarily handsome and matured. We still need to discuss the other part of him buying me but I would have to wait until we leave the pack.
I couldn't help but think maybe my future has something great ahead of me . Perhaps it was my turn to find happiness.
I watched as Kory face shifted from a smug look to a bewildered look. I smirked. Now it's my turn to gloat.
As Kory stood there in a daze , christabel and my Dad walked in.
"Your Majesty, we came to check on Arya," my dad said. Then...he moved closer to me, all smiles ; Arya how do you feel now, he asked.
Although his face is etched with a smile I could see his eyes spitting fire. I don't understand why he's pretending though is it that they're oblivious to the change in the air or what.
Just when I was about answering to his sudden care. Kaid spoke. " Alpha Daston, it has come to my notice that Arya here was been coerced into accepting my proposal.
"If I may ask, your majesty what proposal?" He asked, feigning ignorance.
" Becoming my breeder, as a matter of fact she was not only coerced but threatened which is strictly against my rules," kaid stated, his voice low yet powerful.
Kaid eyes pierced Alpha Daston making him shift involuntarily in the air. The aura emanating from kaid could send a bull turning into a meek.
"Y... your Majesty, I.. it's not how it looks like. I only tried coercing her as she's wolf-less. Alpha Daston tried to make a coherent sentence.
" Is that so ....if that's the case; then why does she have to be threatened with her friend," he asked trying not leaving any space for lies.
" We were just bluffing, king kaid right christabel? He defended quickly turning towards his favorite daughter.
" Enough! Kaid roared. Then he adds; I have stated my rules known and passed across to each and every pack, you didn't only disobeyed my orders but also, maltreat your very own pack members. This is my judgement; from now on, Arya do not belong to your pack any longer. She's mine," he declared taking my hand storming out of the room.
