Sarah and her mother lived in a small village.
That Afternoon, Sarah was enjoying some snacks on the front terrace while staring at the orange sky that sparked her imagination.
Suddenly, she heard her mother's voice yeling from the kitchen, "Sarah!"
She immediately stood up and ran to the kitchen with a face full of confusion.
When she arrived, her mother looked so tired, "I just got back from the garden.. i'm really exhauted," she said while putting the vegetables down on the table.
"Please help me sell these vegetables at the market, because we ran out of rice. If you manage to sell them, buy some rice as well, okay!"
Sarah noded slowly, even though in her heart she felt lazy because she knew the market would soon be closing. The sun was also starting to set.
"Alright… mom," she said, picking up the basket of vegetables. Then Sarah left for the market.
When she arrived at the market, she put the basket on the table with a tired look on her face.
She looked left and right and realized that many of the other vegetable sallers were packing up or had already gone home, even though there were still buyers walking around.
Seeing that made Sarah feel relieved and happy. "Thank goodness… at least the vegetables can still be sold," she said in her heart.
Sure enaugh, a moment later an older women bought all the vegetables in her basket. Sarah felt happy because everything sold out faster than she expected.
Sarah walked back from the market, it was getting dark, and she passed through a smal forest because it was the fastest way to her home.
While walking though the forest, she felt the atmosphere was unusually quiet. There was no sound at all except the crickets and her own slow footsteps.
"Dear Good.. please let nothing bad happen," she said in her heart.
A cold wind blew across the back of her neck. Sarah started to shiver and then fixed the bag of rice while pulling her jacket tighter.
Suddenly the sound of the wolf's howl made Sarah stop for a moment, and the sound felt like it was getting closer.
"Dear Good…not now," she whispered softly as a second growl echoed.
Sarah said her mother's name, hoping she could reach home as soon as possible.
The growling sound become even crearer.
From behind the tress, a black shadow slowly apeared. Sarah swallowed hard, she couldn't even more her legs.
The rough breath of the creature was crearly heard near her ears. Sarah clutched her chect, her breathing grew faster, and her entire body trembled.
From behind a large tree, a huge wolf appeared with its fangs bared and its eyes glowing red. Sarah stepped back.
The wolf roared and moved forward quickly. Sarah screamed and stepped back, but her foot hit a stone and she fell to the ground.
Sarah covered her face with her hands. "Please… don't.." she cried in panic while sobbing.
In the middle of her fear, Sarah suddenly heard the voice of an old woman in her head, "Your blood has awakened."
She was resigned, convinced she was going to die right then and there.
Just as the wolf was about to strike her, a bright white light suddenly burst out from Sarah's body. The creature howled in fear and ran away.
Sarah trembled and slowly opened her eyes, she was shocked when she saw her hands filled with light. Her vision began to blur and the old woman's voice echoed even louder, "The throne is yours."
Within seconds, her body grew weak. She lost consciousnes and immediately fainted.
