Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:The Boy Who Fell From the Sky

🌌 The Night the Sky Split

It began not with a bang, but with a tear. Above the city of Midnight Hollow, where the air smelled of rust, rain, and forgotten dreams, the heavens cracked open. Not like lightning. Not like thunder. But like reality itself had been ripped apart. For a single, breathless moment, the twin moons—Lunara and Noxara—aligned perfectly in the sky, casting the world into a total eclipse. The stars blinked out. The wind died. Even the rats in the gutters froze. Then—A scream tore through the sky. Not human. Not animal. Something older. Something fallen. And from the wound in the heavens, she came. A girl, wrapped in stardust and flame, plummeted like a dying comet. Her silver hair streamed behind her like a comet's tail. Her eyes—closed—glowed with the light of a dying galaxy. Around her neck hung a pendant shaped like a spiral galaxy, its core pulsing with a rhythm that matched no earthly beat. She crashed. The impact shook the earth .A crater exploded in the ruins of the Celestial Temple, a place long abandoned, cursed, and forgotten. Stone pillars shattered. Dust rose like a ghost. The ground cracked in fractal patterns, as if the world itself was rejecting her. And then—Silence. The crowd that had gathered for the Eclipse Festival screamed and scattered. Fireworks fizzled in the sky. Music died. But in the shadows, a boy watched.

🏙️ Kaito Ren – The Ghost of Midnight Hollow.

He wasn't supposed to be there. Kaito Ren, seventeen years old, barefoot, and dressed in a tattered coat two sizes too big, stood frozen on the edge of the square. His fingers still held a stolen loaf of bread, forgotten. He wasn't a hero. He wasn't even a good person. He was a thief, a street rat, a no one. Born in the slums beneath the city's floating towers, he'd learned to survive by being invisible. He knew every alley, every guard's patrol, every merchant who slept with one eye open. But tonight—Something in him woke up. Not logic. Not reason. But a pull, deep in his chest, like a thread tied to his heart and stretched toward the crater. He didn't think. He ran.

🌠 Into the Crater

The air was hot. The ground cracked under his feet. The ruins groaned like a dying beast. And there she was. Lying in the center of the destruction, untouched by the flames, was the girl. She looked small now—fragile, even. But the pendant around her neck pulsed with power, sending waves of heat into the air. Kaito knelt. He reached out—And the moment his fingers brushed the pendant, fire shot through his veins. His vision exploded.

🔮 Flash — A Thousand Lives

He saw: A war of gods, where stars were thrown like spears. A boy with his face, standing atop a shattered world, crowned in shadow. A woman with silver hair, whispering, "The Vessel has returned. "His mother, holding the same pendant, vanishing into a rift in the sky. His father, bleeding, saying, "Don't let it choose a broken world." Then—Darkness. Kaito gasped, falling back. His hand was glowing—silver lines spreading up his arm like cracks in glass." What... was that?" he whispered. Before he could think, shouts echoed from the ruins." Find her!" "She must not awaken!" "Kill anyone who touches her!" From the smoke emerged figures in black robes, their faces hidden beneath hoods. They carried blades that hummed with anti-light, and their eyes glowed crimson. The Order of the Void. Kaito didn't hesitate. He grabbed the girl—lighter than he expected—and ran.

🏃‍♂️ The Chase Through Midnight Hollow

He knew these streets like his own breath. He ducked into the Rust Alley, leapt over a broken cart, slid under a collapsed gate. Behind him, the Order moved like shadows, silent, relentless. One of them raised a hand. A beam of void energy lanced out, vaporizing a stone pillar where Kaito had been a second before. He didn't look back. He sprinted through the Slag Market, knocking over stalls. A woman screamed. A dog barked. Somewhere, a baby cried. He turned into the under bridge Tunnels, a maze of concrete and dripping water. He ran until his lungs burned, until his legs screamed. Finally, he collapsed in a hidden chamber—his safehouse—a forgotten bunker beneath the old aqueducts. He laid the girl down gently. She was still breathing. Still glowing, Still... alive.

🔍 Who Is She?

Kaito stared at her pendant. It pulsed once. Then, a voice—soft, feminine, echoing from nowhere—spoke in his mind: "You are the Vessel... the Eclipse Star remembers you..." He jumped." Who said that?!"Silence. He looked at the girl. Her lips moved slightly."...Kaito..."His blood froze." How do you know my name?" She didn't answer. He sat back, heart pounding. Who was she? Why did she fall? Why did the Order want her dead? And why... did his parents vanish on the last eclipse?

🌙 Dawn – The First Morning

Hours passed. The eclipse ended. The moons separated. The world returned to normal. But Kaito knew—Nothing would ever be normal again. He lit a small fire. He warmed some water. He tore a piece of his coat to make a pillow for her. And as the first light of dawn touched her face, she stirred. Her eyes opened. And Kaito saw galaxies. Her irises weren't just silver. They were alive—swirling with stars, nebulae, and ancient light. She sat up slowly." You... saved me," she whispered. Kaito backed away. "Who are you?" She touched the pendant. "My name is Lysandra."She looked at him, as if seeing through his skin, into his soul." And you... are the Vessel of the Eclipse Star."

🧩 The Truth Begins

She told him: The Eclipse Star is not a myth. It is a cosmic entity, older than time, capable of rewriting reality. Long ago, it was shattered into seven shards to prevent destruction. Now, it is awakening. And she is the last heir of the Starborn Dynasty, sent across dimensions to find the Vessel. The Order of the Void hunts her because they believe the Star must remain dead. But if it doesn't awaken..."All worlds will collapse into silence." Kaito laughed. "You expect me to believe that? I steal bread for a living."Lysandra stood, weak but determined. "Then why did the Star show you your mother's face? Why did it burn your hand with its mark?" He looked at his palm. The silver lines were still there. She stepped closer." You were chosen long before you were born." "Your parents didn't abandon you. They were taken...Because they knew the truth." Kaito's breath caught. Silence. Then—A boom echoed from above. The ground shook. From the tunnel entrance, red light flickered. They were here. The Order had found them.

⚔️ The First Fight

"Stay behind me," Kaito said, grabbing a rusted pipe. The first warrior dropped down—hooded, blade humming. Kaito swung. The pipe shattered. But the distraction was enough. Lysandra raised her hand. Her pendant flared. A beam of celestial light blasted the warrior back, slamming him into the wall. But more came. Two, Three, Five .Kaito fought like a cornered animal—kicking, dodging, throwing debris. Lysandra fired bursts of light, but she was weak. One warrior got past. He raised his blade—aimed at Kaito's heart. Time slowed. Kaito closed his eyes. Then—A black blur. A sword flashed. The warrior fell. Standing over him was a woman in tattered armor, her katana still glowing from the cut. She looked at Kaito. Her amber eyes burned with authority." You're harder to find than a soul in hell," she said." But you're not dead. So the Star still believes in you." Kaito stared. "Who the hell are you?" She wiped her blade." Call me Rin. And if you want to live past sunrise...You'll come with me."

🌅 To Be Continued...

The sky bled red.

The Eclipse Star pulsed in the void.

And somewhere, in the dark, a shadow smiled."

The Vessel has returned...and so have I."
