Hey everyone, what's up? PinkSnake here. I've decided to stop translating this story, and my reasons are pretty solid—I hope you understand.
1. This fic is behind a paywall, so I've been paying for the chapters, translating them, and then sharing them with you. Of course, I only do this for novels I personally enjoy or where the continuation feels justified. Because of this, I'm basically going in blind—I don't know how the story will progress or what'll happen next, and I'm discovering it all alongside you.
In the case of this story, everything changed starting from Chapter 255. The protagonist suddenly jumped into the DC Universe out of nowhere. There was no explanation for how it happened, why it happened, when it happened, or any mention of the previous plots in the Marvel Universe. Don't get me wrong—I like the DC Universe, but the story wasn't built there. All the previous plots and even characters (except for the three main ones) were completely forgotten. That's something I really can't accept or pretend didn't happen.
So, in my view, the fic effectively ended at Chapter 255, simply because the plot that was built up concluded there. I translated up to Chapter 300 to be sure, but yeah—apparently, after Chapter 255, nothing from the Marvel Universe is ever mentioned again, all the way until the novel's end around Chapter 1076.
I really wanted to see this through and translate an awesome fic, but since this happened, it's just not possible anymore. I'm not sure if it was the author's decision or some kind of "ghostwriter" situation (which is a common practice in Chinese web novels), but I can't continue investing so much time in a story where the original plot was abandoned.
So, that's it. I'll keep bringing Marvel fics to you all—in fact, I'm already translating another one right now. I'll also be releasing all the chapters I've done up to 300, so you can see what I'm talking about for yourselves. If another translator wants to continue, feel free to use my translations as a base instead of starting from scratch. The original title is: 美漫:心理医生,截胡旺达格温! But please make sure to inform readers about everything I've mentioned. Honestly, I believe it only makes sense to continue if you genuinely enjoy the new story the author decided to write, because frankly, it feels like two different stories in one. Still, it was good up to Chapter 255—I had fun along the way, and it had better plots than most stuff out there. It was worth it up to this point.
