Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 : Master of the Great Tomb of Nazarick

Takashi, or rather Ainz, as he was starting to get used to being called, stood still in the majestic throne room of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. The flames of the magical torches danced on the walls, casting shadows that seemed to whisper ancient secrets. In front of him, Albedo gazed at him with adoration that would melt any man's heart. However, despite the excitement bubbling within him, a persistent thought gnawed at him: he was a skeleton. A walking pile of bones, without flesh, without a face, without charm. How am I supposed to seduce anyone like this? he wondered, his empty eye sockets gleaming with a reddish glow.

He looked down at his bony hands, the joints clacking slightly when he moved them. Celestia promised me power and pleasures, but she forgot to mention that I would be a walking monster! He could already imagine the horrified looks of the inhabitants of this world, the screams of terror at his appearance. Even Albedo, with her programmed love for Ainz Ooal Gown, could she really desire a skeleton? I need to find a way to deal with this, he thought, his mind racing. Maybe a cloak to hide my body? Or a magical illusion?

As he pondered, a sound rang out, like a digital bell. Ding! A holographic interface, similar to a video game menu, appeared in front of him, floating in the air. Words in golden letters shimmered:

Character Modification: YES / NO

Takashi blinked, or rather, his eye sockets pulsed in surprise. Then, a deep, cavernous laughter erupted from his skull, resonating in the room. Seriously? A character customization menu? This is too cool!

Albedo, who had approached, tilted her head, her golden eyes sparkling with genuine concern. "What's happening, Ainz-sama?" she asked, her soft voice tinged with sincere curiosity. Her wings fluttered slightly, and her pristine white robe hugged her curves in a way that made it hard for Takashi to focus.

Coming back to himself, Ainz cleared his non-existent throat. "Everything's fine, Albedo," he replied, his deep voice vibrating with an authority he was beginning to appreciate. With a mental gesture, he clicked on YES, and the interface expanded, revealing a detailed panel.

Status

At the bottom, a line caught his attention

Physical Form: Skeleton.

Physical form? he thought, intrigued. He clicked on this option, and a new panel appeared, this time with appearance parameters: Hair Color, Eye Color, Height, Weight, and, finally, Form: Skeleton. A message flashed: Would you like to modify your appearance? YES / NO. Takashi felt a wave of excitement wash over him. This is my chance! Without hesitation, he selected YES.

The interface turned into a kind of character editor, like those in modern RPGs. Options scrolled by, allowing him to customize every detail. Takashi, or rather Ainz, wasted no time. He knew exactly what he wanted. If I'm going to be an all-powerful lord, might as well look the part. He immediately thought of Gojo Satoru, the charismatic sorcerer from Jujutsu Kaisen, with his confident demeanor, his tousled white hair, and his irresistible charm. Yeah, that's perfect. He began to adjust the settings.

Character Modification

Hair Color: Silver White

Style: Messy, falling slightly over the forehead

Eye Color: Glacier Blue, bright

Height: 1.85m, for an imposing presence

Complexion: Fair, almost ethereal

He tweaked his facial features to reflect Gojo's casual arrogance, with a smirk and prominent cheekbones. Finally, he came to the Form option. He clicked on Skeleton, and a dropdown list appeared: Human, Demon, Elf, Undead, and many others. Without hesitation, he selected Human/Dragon.

Satisfied, he reviewed his choices, a mental smile stretching his mind. Perfect. Goodbye skeleton, hello handsome man. He pressed OK, and a blinding light burst from the interface, enveloping him like a cocoon. A strange warmth coursed through his being, as if his essence was being reshaped. His bones seemed to melt, replaced by a sensation of flesh, muscles, life. The light faded, and silence returned.

Ainz looked down. His hands were no longer bones, but human fingers, long and elegant. He touched his face, feeling smooth skin, lips, a nose. His hair, soft and silky, brushed his forehead. A new energy pulsed within him, blending Ainz Ooal Gown's magical power with human vitality. He turned to Albedo, who stared at him, mouth agape, her cheeks turning pink rapidly.

"Ainz-sama..." she murmured, her eyes shining with a newfound intensity. She seemed flustered, her wings quivering, her fingers clutching the fabric of her robe. "Your appearance... it's... divine."

Ainz burst into a confident, hearty laughter, his voice now warmer, more human, but still tinged with the authority of a sovereign. "Just wait and see, Albedo."

With a mental gesture, he cast a simple spell, Illusory Mirror, creating a floating mirror in front of him. He looked at himself, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. His white hair shimmered under the torchlight, his blue eyes gleamed like glaciers, and his face exuded a confident arrogance. Damn, I look stunning, he thought, turning slightly to admire his profile. Gojo, eat your heart out.

He adjusted his posture, slightly puffing out his chest. His black robe, adorned with golden runes, fit his new body perfectly, accentuating his athletic build. Celestia, you're a genius. Satisfied, he dismissed the mirror with a gesture and turned to Albedo, who seemed to struggle to contain her excitement. Her eyes devoured him, and her breathing had quickened.

"Ainz-sama, you are... more magnificent than I could have ever imagined," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. She took a step towards him, her horns glinting slightly. "Allow me to serve you, to adore you as you deserve..."

Ainz felt a wave of warmth wash over him. Oh, I'm going to have so much fun. He approached her, his steps resonating with a newfound confidence. Albedo was tall, but with his new height, he slightly towered over her. He leaned in, his face inches from hers, and murmured in a soft, almost seductive voice: "Albedo, my faithful guardian... do you know how beautiful you are?"

Albedo's cheeks flushed, and a small gasp escaped her lips. "Ainz-sama... your words..." She seemed on the verge of fainting, her eyes shining with a mix of love and desire.

Ainz placed a hand under her chin, gently lifting her face. Her skin was warm, soft as silk. He locked eyes with hers, a sly smile playing on his lips. "You are mine, aren't you?" he murmured, his voice low and mesmerizing.

"Yes, Ainz-sama," she breathed, her lips quivering. "Always."

Without another word, Ainz leaned in and kissed her. It wasn't a gentle or hesitant kiss, but a wild, passionate embrace, as if he was claiming every part of her. Albedo moaned against his lips, her hands gripping his robe, her wings quivering with excitement. The kiss lasted, deep and intoxicating, until Ainz pulled back slightly, a satisfied smile on his face.

"That," he said, wiping an imaginary lipstick trace from his mouth, "is just a taste."

Albedo staggered, her eyes filled with desire. "Ainz-sama... I am yours, for eternity."

Ainz laughed, a rich and confident sound. Damn, this world is going to be incredible. He placed a hand on Albedo's shoulder, his gaze turning to the throne room. Nazarick, a harem, and unlimited power. Celestia, you've outdone yourself.
