Donna opened her eyes feeling drained of any strength. The only thing that reminded her she was still alive was the pain she felt all over her body. She struggled to sit up while leaning against the bed frame trying to recall what had just happened to her.
Donna, the eldest daughter of the Smiths, was born with a weak constitution that nobody understood. Her father, Henry Smith, being a capitalist thought she had already lost her values. He dumped her with her grandmother since her illness was deemed incurable. Many years later, the popularly renowned cold and cruel CEO of the Millers group, Oswald Miller, being pressured by his family sent a marriage proposal to the Smith family to marry Linda Smith, Donna's younger sister. Considering Linda still had some worth, Henry decided to send Donna to the "devil".
Donna and her grandmother protested, of course, they all knew how cruel Oswald Miller had treated the women who tried to come near him. In the process of forcing Donna, Henry hit Donna's grandmother. She immediately fell into a coma. Donna tried to vent her anger on her father just to be suddenly hit on the head by Linda who sneaked in. She was later carried into the car and bought to the Smith residence and here she was on the bed.
She barely had time to recall all of this before the door slammed open. Henry came in with a document that read marriage agreement. She was about to voice her complaints when Henry threatened her with her grandmother's life. She could only sign it obediently.
At night while she slept, she had a nightmare in which an old man was talking to her about her special physique.
"Hey little girl,what do you think about your constitution?"
"...my constitution is a curse, isn't it?"
"Hell no. Only one person in the world is born in the world with the special constitution in every 1000 years."
Donna mockingly laughed,
"I coulda believed you if this world were a novel."
The old man, not ready to argue, just shrugged,
"Look at that pen over there.I could move it here with just a flick of my finger."
"If you could do that, then I'd be able to buy a MacBook for 10 dol..."
"THE F**K "
In front of the man was a pen hovering over his fingertips.
"Do you believe me now?"
"This must be a dream"
Donna was surprised that this was even happening.
"Are you a magician?"
The man, trying to look mysterious, put his hands behind his back and said,
"What do you think? Hehehe"
After a long round of excuses, Donna eventually accepts her fate of being abnormal.The old man put his finger on her glabella, then the next thing she saw was the ceiling of the room she was confined in the Smith family.
"Knew it was all a dream."
As she tried to sit up, a wave of information flashed right before her eyes and she felt a pang of headache.
" Oh, it's real?"
Suddenly the door opens to reveal a well-suited Mr Henry Smith grinning ear to ear as he instructed her to take her bath and dress up to go to the civil affairs bureau.
