Beerus rolls his eyes.
> Beerus: "You're just mad my ramen beats your cabbage soup."
Whis sighs softly while Sonic leans forward, curious.
Champa points dramatically at Sonic.
> Champa: "And another thing… Chaos Emeralds are banned!"
Sonic blinks.
> Sonic: "Wait—what? Why me?"
Champa smirks.
> Champa: "You'll see soon enough. I have a surprise for you."
Beerus growls.
> Beerus: "Just pick your fighters already."
Champa grins wide.
> Champa: "I already have. And Sonic…
your 'counterpart' is waiting in Universe Six."
Sonic's eyes narrow, his curiosity now turning into tension.

Champa chuckles.

Monaka
Sonic squints at Monaka, who's trembling, sweating, and nearly crying.

Beerus leans down and whispers dramatically:

Whis smiles politely.
> Whis: "Beerus may be exaggerating a little."

Monaka is the ultimate hedgeh—
er… I mean, ultimate fighter!"
Sonic crosses his arms.
> Sonic: "So you're telling me this guy is stronger than Goku, Vegeta, and me?"
Beerus: "Yes."
Sonic: "…You're lying."
Beerus looks away.
Monaka sneezes and almost falls over.
Sonic sighs.
> Sonic: "Fine. If Beerus wants to hype up a weak guy, I'll play along.
But if he trips in the arena, I'm not catching him."
Meanwhile—
Majin Buu is disqualified for failing the written exam.
Whis shrugs.
> Whis: "And that leaves us with Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Sonic…
and Monaka."
Sonic mutters under his breath:
> Sonic: "Universe 7 is doomed."
But he still grins, ready for the fight.
Scene – Universe 6 Team Revealed
Champa proudly presents Universe 6's fighters:
Hit – the silent, terrifying legendary assassin
Cabba – a polite Saiyan with hidden potential
Frost – Frieza's "kind" counterpart (a lie)
Botamo – a bouncing tank who absorbs attacks
Magetta – a metal man with insane durability
But then—
Champa snaps his fingers.
A red warrior steps forward, fists clenched, emerald energy glowing faintly across his knuckles.
Knuckles —
Guardian of Chaos Emeralds in Universe 6.
Sonic's eyes widen.
> Sonic: "Who the heck is that guy?"
Knuckles growls, confused and irritated.
> Knuckles: "And who are YOU supposed to be? Some blue rodent with shoes?"
Sonic scoffs.
> Sonic: "Rodent? Seriously? You're just a red echidna with boxing gloves."
Hit glances at them both, uninterested.
Cabba blinks politely.
Champa smirks, enjoying the tension.
> Champa: "He's your counterpart, Sonic.
A Chaos Guardian from Universe 6."
Sonic raises an eyebrow.
> Sonic: "Chaos Guardian? Never heard of him."
Knuckles tightens his fists.
> Knuckles: "Good. Keep it that way."
The two stare each other down — complete strangers from different universes, instantly competitive.
Beerus chuckles.
> Beerus: "This should be fun."
Whis smiles.
> Whis: "Neither of them has any idea how alike they truly are."
Sonic and Knuckles turn away from each other at the same time.
