"Huh? What did you say?"
"Thanks," Jaehyuk replied, still in a low tone.
"Huh? I can't hear you well," Yujin insisted. He had heard him.
"Forget it," Jaehyuk snapped.
Seo Yujin found himself smiling. "What a petty kid."
"Kid?" Jaehyuk questioned. "Hey. I'm older here. You're the kid."
"Whatever," Seo Yujin couldn't help but smile.
Jaehyuk sighed, eyes on the road. "Anyway. Thanks for helping me back then."
"Did I really help?" Seo Yujin asked. "I felt like I was being nosy. It's unlike me, I guess." He had his eyes out the window again.
And this time, he saw a billboard. One with the huge picture of the lady he had seen earlier modelling a designer's clothes and bag.
He stared at the billboard until they passed it. He guessed she really was a model or whatever she said she was.
"Is she really your mother?" Seo Yujin found himself asking. He didn't wish to. He knew he wasn't one to want to care. But curiosity got the best of him. "It's okay if you don't want to answer—"
