A normal spring day, John was at home cleaning the yard when a storm hit suddenly. He was caught unprepared and was stuck by a bolt of lightning as he tried running inside.
An hour later when John awoke he heard a voice in his mind and saw a transparent screen in his vision.

John was dazed by this and eventually shook off the daze and looked at the system screen.
He noticed the system provided him and overall look at his own health and intelligence as well as had an inventory and a shop feature. He focused on the shop feature and it pulled up a menu that had different categories.

John clicked into the medical section first to see if there was anything to help heal his injuries and improve his constitution. There was a search feature that made it easy to find what he was looking for.
He found 3 items that would work for what he wanted.

He saw these and chose the physical enhancement pill because it would place him above the average human in constitution.
The pill appeared out of thin air as if by magic, and John immediately went inside to get a glass of water but when he placed the pill into his mouth it dissolved and he did not need the water. The taste of the pill was sweet with a bitter after taste and he felt a slightly warm sensation all over his body that made him extremely comfortable.
John then looked at the technology section of the shop and saw everything from basic computers to advanced spacecraft and artificial intelligence (AI). John chose to purchase an advanced spacecraft with mining capabilities, An implantable AI chip and production methods for a super computer that was even faster than current quantum computers. With these 3 purchase it left him with 1 purchase to make at the discounted rate and he decided to choose carefully. He recieved the implantable AI chip and it automatically implanted itself into him allowing him to control any electronics near him with his thoughts.
He browsed all the shop sections for 2 hours before ultimately deciding on something in the item section. He chose to purchase what the system called an automated all purpose factory which based on the description could produce anything the host had the production method and resources for.
Upon receiving this factory it appeared as a small bracelet that looked like a smart watch. He focused on the watch and the AI chip provided all the information from it, showing him that there currently were no resources for production and that he could only produce a super computer since that was the only production method he currently had.
After buying all of these things the system shop discounts were used up and the normal item prices showed. The things he purchased would have normally been far more expensive than the measly $5 he spent, the medication alone would have cost him $500, while the advanced spacecraft with mining capability would have cost him nearly $3billion. In total the value of everything he bought would have been around $4billion.
This made John happy that the system offered a discount for him on the first few items.
With all of these things bought John thought about what was needed to build his first supercomputer and decided to try to buy the raw materials for it. When he looked for the raw materials he realized there were a few things he could not purchase because of the price. He was not able to purchase the gold, silver or hafnium. These things were all way outside his current wealth and he simply could not afford to buy any of the core materials.
Realizing this he decided to look elsewhere for the things he needed, he vaguely remembered something about some asteroids containing these materials so he used his new AI chip to search the internet for any information about these asteroids so he could use his spacecraft to go mine the materials.
He managed to find some information about their locations but nothing exact, they were all within the solar systems asteroid belt. He looked at the time and was not sure how long it would take to gather the materials so he decided to call in sick for work the next day saying he had fallen ill during the day today.
After calling work he found a remote place with a large open space to take the spacecraft out of the system storage and entered the spacecraft. The spacecraft appeared rather small on the outside, only slight larger than the size of a modern car, however when he entered it was larger than he expected. After touring the spacecraft there was a large open bay type sleeping area as well as a single room sleeping area for him, there was a large storage room that was even larger than his entire house, and there were facilities for cooking and showering as well. He found that the entire spacecraft was approximately the size of a large retail store on the inside. He guessed it was around 50,000 square feet inside but wasn't entirely sure.
With this all done he finally decided to connect to the ship and head off.
Once connected he was prompted asking if he wanted to initiate the ships stealth mode which would be able to hide him from modern detection systems and he immediately chose to do so as he did not want anyone knowing he owned such advanced technology.
With stealth activated the ship took off and John chose to go to the asteroid belt. Much to his surprise and delight he also found the ship had the ability to scan objects to find what they were made of. It took John only 30 minutes to arrive at the asteroid belt which shocked him because he was expecting atleast hours.
Once he arrived he set the ship to automatically scan the asteroid and mine any that were found to contain valuable resources that were expensive on earth as well as any Materials that were unknown to earth.
