If you couldn't read the chapter's name....

READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!....SPOILERS AHEAD!!!.

For a hundred years, humanity has lived in the shadow of the Veils....rifts in reality that connect our world to the realms of monsters. No one knows who or what first tore the fabric of existence, but the result was irreversible.

At first, Earth fell into chaos. Monsters spilled through the Veils like floods breaking a dam. Cities burned, nations crumbled, and billions died. But humans, stubborn as ever, adapted.

■The World Order■:

Now, a century later, Earth isn't ruled by nations anymore. Governments still exist, but real authority lies with the Guilds.

• Guilds are organizations of Hunters who clear Veils, slay monsters, and protect cities.

• Guild leaders wield more power than

presidents or kings. They decide what cities thrive and which are abandoned.

• Ordinary civilians live inside Fortified Zones.... walled mega-cities surrounded by Veil checkpoints and watchtowers.

Life inside a zone feels normal enough. People still go to college, scroll their phones, and binge shows.

But everyone knows that survival depends on the Hunters standing between them and annihilation.

■The Power Scale■

Hunters are ranked by Awakenings ...mysterious powers gained after surviving contact with a Veil.

These abilities can be anything from controlling fire to enhancing the body beyond human limits.

■The official ranking system■:

• F-Rank Hunters: Barely stronger than an athlete. Are mainly Cannon fodder.

• E-Rank Hunters: Still weak, but can take down small monsters.

• D-Rank Hunters: The average Hunter....useful in squads.

• C-Rank Hunters: Elite. Cities rely on them to lead raids.

• B-Rank: These are Rare, powerful and respected people.

• A-Rank: They're Monstrous in their own right. Whole Guilds are built around them.

• S-Rank: Legends....is what can be used to define them.... Only a handful exist worldwide, they're capable of fighting calamity-class Veils.

And then there are whispers of something beyond S-Rank…

■ Veil creatures Tiers ■.

Not all monsters are equal. Like Hunters, they have ranks.

• F-Tier: Dangerous only to civilians. Packs of goblins and corrupted beasts.

• E-Tier: A match for untrained Hunters. Still deadly in numbers.

• D-Tier: Human-level intelligence and strength. orcs or reptilian soldiers

.

• C-Tier: Can wipe out squads. Examples of such are the Wyverns, trolls, ogres...there's more though...

• B-Tier: These are City-level threats. Like the Chimera, hydras, nightmare-class predators.

• A-Tier: But these..... are Natural disasters with fangs. Dragons, eldritch horrors.( you see what I did there, hehehe)

• S-Tier: Entities so strong entire armies can't scratch them.

Hunters and monsters both evolve through kills, meaning the more a being fights, the stronger it gets.

■ Balance and Survival ■

The Veils can open anywhere, anytime. An ordinary street corner could split open and flood with beasts.

That's why Guilds control strict surveillance networks .... alarms, scanners, and patrols.

Still, Veil breaks slip through. And when they do, cities rely on Hunters to mobilize fast. Every citizen knows the evacuation drills by heart.

But here's the terrifying truth: the Veils are growing stronger. Where once only F to D-tier monsters appeared, now A and even S-tier Veils emerge more frequently.

Scholars whisper of an approaching of the Great Collapse... the day the Veils permanently merge with Earth.

Until then, people cling to routine.

Go to school.

Go to work.

Fall in love.

Watch shows.

Pretend that the world isn't ending.

■ Veil Classifications ■

Once a veil have been conquered or at least if the hunter survives it.... it's gonna be closed. So that's why is so important for Hunters to venture into it.

The red veils down to abyssal veils, have their own objectives needed for them to be conquered.

Gray Veils : This are small Rifts that only allow weak monsters to pass through like the goblins. ...it doesn't need objectives for it to be conquered...either you survive it or keep killing until an exit opens up.

Red Veils: Medium-sized rifts pulsing with red light, F and E class beast pass through this Rift frequently...but....even C and B class monsters can pass through this Rift as the champions of the Rift....now this, this one has objectives... There are missions needed for the veil conquest.

Black Veils : Large, ominous rifts that shimmer black, A tier beasts can access this Rift into the working world to wreak havoc on the working world.

Abyssal Veils :these are rare Rare, apocalyptic rifts that emit a suffocating, prismatic void, marked by a shattered ring ().

They spawn legendary SSS rank beasts that legend as it that are real.

Now that, that's out of d way...enjoy and safe reading.
