Ereshkigal was shocked as he easily breached her defenses. As a shut-in with no experience in worldly affairs, she had never been in a situation like this. She tried to beg for mercy, hoping to get his attention.
To which Li Lin thought, This is just the beginning. If it weren't for her Spirit Core getting in the way, he would do much more.

"Li Lin... I want to ask, do you really like me?" she whispered. "It might sound self-deprecating, but I know I'm a gloomy, withdrawn, and boring woman. So..."
She didn't finish, but Li Lin understood. Of course, anyone would worry about such things. As a long-time shut-in, it was normal for her to have such doubts.
Li Lin smiled and paused his actions. "I like you. I like everything about Eresh, both your personality and your body."
"B-body?!"
Ereshkigal trembled again. Oh no, what if the man who fell for me is a pervert? She looked down at her own canteen. Although the "lunch lady" was trying her best to serve him, a doubt couldn't help but surface in her mind.
