Chapter 2 - chapter One-The Prince’s Dilemma

Prince Whillam stood by the tall window of his golden chamber, looking down at the busy kingdom of Eloria. The people loved him. Everywhere he went, children waved, and elders bowed. But deep in his heart, he carried a heavy burden.

His father, King Alfred, had given him a condition:

"Before you become king, you must marry. A ruler without a queen cannot guide the people."

But Whillam didn't want just any wife. He didn't want a woman who loved him for his crown, his riches, or the power he would one day hold. He wanted a woman who would love him as a man, not as a prince.

That night, at the royal feast, several noblewomen tried to impress him with their beauty and wealth. They smiled, bowed, and spoke sweetly, but Whillam could see through their eyes. They wanted the crown, not his heart.

The young prince decided something bold: he would leave the kingdom in disguise. He would become a common man, living among strangers, to find a woman who truly loved him.

And so, in the quiet hours of the morning, Whillam dressed himself in plain clothes. He carried only a small bag of coins, a wooden staff, and a heart full of hope.

As he stepped out of the castle gates, he whispered to himself:

"If love is real, I will find it. Not as a prince… but as a man."

And with that, his journey began.
