The wolf suddenly stopped causing a running Luck to come to an abrupt halt.
"Hey Luke wait up ! I think Kira's sensing something "
His twin soon stopped as well as he swatted off an insect that had landed on his shoulder.
"Don't worry bro, you know I'm always watching for danger. If there's any we'll bolt"
Luck snorted in derision "We're so weak! Sometimes I wish we had awakened early rather than going to that pre-awakening school "
Luke sighed with exasperation " You've been saying that for the past six years! Give it a rest already. Our awakening ceremony is already around the corner "
Luck ignored his brother as he glanced at Kira. Her body was bent backwards in a stalking position as she growled menacingly

Luck's eyes suddenly widened in revelation as he heard the trees of the forest near them begin to rustle.

A wolf howled with frevor as it burst out of the trees causing the herd to begin to scatter in fright.
It's raised its paw which suddenly began to glow as it brought it down with a quick slashing motion

In an instant, numerous sheeps were turned to shreds as claw shaped arcs ripped into them
Luck watched with growing shock ( It killed aarmoured sheep like it was nothing!)
He had a right to be shocked. Armoured sheep although unranked, were known to even give F rank hunters trouble.
With the way it sliced through; them like a professional swimmer through water, it could only mean one thing.
"This dude's an E rank" muttered as the fear inside him began to grow

Anyway , being out of the pack was one of the worst things that could happen to a wolf.
Not only were they left to fend for themselves, they lost the power that comes from the pack making their overall battle prowess to be drastically reduced.

Luck was literally shaken out of his thoughts as Luke desperately tried to bring his brother back to his senses.
"What the heck are you still standing here for?" Luke screamed into his brother's face. The fact that his brother's face was calm caused his fears to multiply
