First came a world of light, where souls of virtue shone like suns, basking in joy earned by their good deeds. Music filled the air, and Arun felt lifted.
Then came a shadowy realm, where souls clung to their old desires. Some reached for food and drink that no longer existed. Some cried for wealth, some for revenge. They were bound by what they had loved too much.
Arun shuddered. "I too have desires. Will I fall here?"
