Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: “Who Are You? Flávia”

After the last creak, the door that seemed to hide all the darkness of the world slowly opened. But, unlike what he had expected, what emerged carried the purest beauty and elegance.

A woman with a striking presence entered gracefully. Her features betrayed maturity: a fully developed woman with elegant curves, firm shoulders, impeccable posture, and a gaze that radiated experience and confidence. She exuded an aura that blended authority and delicacy, making anyone hesitate before approaching.

Bruno's eyes were fixed on her. She was the same one who had appeared in his dream, but now with even more impressive details. Her pale skin, similar to his own, created a sharp contrast with her long black hair, which framed her divinely sculpted body. Her slim waist was highlighted by a black blouse with a subtle inscription just below her bust. Her chest was impressive, slightly larger than Bruno's hand.

A purple hairpin held part of her hair, matching her black shoes with purple accents. The tight jeans emphasized her curves perfectly. Her piercing brown eyes and confident posture conveyed an angelic, almost vampiric beauty.

Noticing Bruno's hypnotic stare, she smiled faintly, acknowledging the fascination she inspired. But her aura also carried something terrifying, something that confronted Bruno's most primitive instincts. He wanted to flee, run, or defend himself, yet her presence seemed to hold him in place.

She began walking slowly toward him. The oppressive aura gradually dissipated, replaced by a sense of familiarity that left him even more confused. Bruno's eyes still roamed over every detail of her perfectly sculpted body, but he could not follow her steps.

Before he realized it, she had approached and sat at the edge of the bed. Their eyes met, and contrary to what he expected, she merely greeted him shyly, slightly crossing her fingers in front of her body.

"Good morning, Bruno. Are you feeling better?" she asked kindly.

Bruno felt a strange familiarity, though he couldn't place its source. His voice came out trembling and hesitant:

"Who are you?" he asked timidly, his eyes once again fixed on those hypnotic curves.

"Forgive me, I may have been too direct," she said, extending her hand in greeting. "It's a pleasure. I'm Flávia Syla."

Still startled, Bruno replied:

"A pleasure… I'm Bruno Constantia," he said timidly.

She simply smiled, keeping their hands intertwined. With a light giggle, she added:

"Seems like you liked what you saw, didn't you?" she said, slightly embarrassed.

Flávia's eyes traveled over Bruno's body and lingered on his hips. He blushed instantly and muttered:

"Sorry…"

The scene felt surreal, and he still felt hypnotized.

"No worries," she replied, not letting go of his hands.

A little intimidated, Bruno asked:

"Could you tell me where we are? Please?"

She nodded slightly:

"We're in my castle."

"Your castle?" he asked, curious and intimidated. "Why am I here?"

"In a way, you'll be living here with me now. We're… connected," she said, squeezing his hand, her eyes shining.

Bruno was confused; his gaze wandered between her hand, her eyes, and again, those hypnotic curves.

"What do you mean by 'connected'? And with vampires?" he asked, even more disturbed.

"Look at yourself: pale skin, strong body, height… I turned you into a vampire. I'd like to explain properly in another place," she replied, but before finishing, her face turned extremely red, almost as if smoke were rising from it.

Bruno wondered what was happening, but before he could speak, Flávia tossed a pair of clothes toward him:

"You must be hungry. You've slept almost four days. Change so we can eat. I'll be waiting behind the door," she said, blushing, releasing his hand timidly.

As she left, Bruno realized he was completely naked, and… his body reacted uncontrollably. Observing the clothes, he noticed they were elegant, completely out of his style. Yet something caught his attention with absolute certainty: it seemed to please him profoundly.

Laughing to himself, he momentarily forgot the situation. The outfit consisted of a red open blazer, a casual black shirt, comfortable polyester pants, and black slippers. Without hesitation, he dressed and examined the room: large, simple, but with no good place to flee.

Once dressed, he walked to the door and opened it. Behind it, Flávia was still blushing, accompanied by a beautiful white-haired maid whose proportions were comparable, if not superior, to Flávia's. He simply nodded and returned his attention to Flávia.

"Forgive me… it's not something I can control," he replied timidly. "It's normal; vampires' emotions intensify."

She then took his arm and began guiding him through the silent corridors. Bruno's eyes shone with apprehension: "Am I going to be dinner?" he thought desperately.

Upon reaching the grand dining hall, an immense table was set, adorned with red-toned foods exuding an irresistible aroma.

"Vampires can eat something other than blood?" he wondered.

Flávia, in a low voice as if reading his thoughts, said:

"These are foods marinated in blood. It's still not ideal for you to eat them."

She guided him to a seat at the main table, where the family heads usually sat. Bruno didn't want to occupy that spot, but she insisted, sitting beside him.

Looking at the food, he felt a mixture of curiosity, disgust, hatred, and weakness.

Hatred was something that had followed him since youth, amplified by his hyperthyroidism, which made his body and mind more reactive. Now, that hatred served as a mental shield: "Do not be deceived by her beauty. Do not show weakness. Keep your head high."

As he watched Flávia beside him, her eyes bright and expression serene, Bruno felt exposed, lost, manipulated — but, as always, the hatred kept him steady. He confused affection with control, protection with a trap.

Flávia, however, was patient and graceful. With all the sweetness and firmness of her mature demeanor, she began to explain the situation, clarifying everything with care, without haste.

Bruno couldn't help but think: what an incredible woman…
