Headmaster's office, Hogwarts :
Dumbledore is eating his favourite lemon drops while savouring the taste. The appearance of someone with bloodline of Twilight Wizard is unexpected. So he is speaking nning gears in his mind to modify his plans, see if there is any chance to involve this guy to help Harry Potter.
The problem is he is in Slytherin. Dumbledore feared he might be led astray by Slytherin students. As he thinking, Snape barged into the room and shouted," Dumbledore ", Albus Dumbledore who is in deep thoughts flinched when somebody called his name and dropped few lemon drops.
Groaning, he looked up to see Severus Snape. With a forced smile he said," Severus, I'm maybe old but my ears are still working fine. No need to shout, see because of you some of my lemon drops are gone to waste ".
Snape ignored it and asked," do you know what happened in the traditional hidden prefect duel today? ", Dumbledore shook his head. Snape recounted everything that happened. Dumbledore face turned from smile to seriousness to another smile. His eyes glinted when Snape said," it can defend against magical spells. A patronus that's not only tangible and acts as an armour but similar to the legends Adrian Wells is able to use it in giant sizes like Andros and Elios ".
Dumbledore smile widened but the he asked with a serious look," is he like behaving like a tyrant? ", Snape shook his head and said," i don't know for certain but he gave them two chances to surrender and didn't inuure anyone. I need to observe him more ".
Dumbledore tapped his fingers on the table. He wished there won't be another dark lord. Because he knew more than anyone how disastrous the consequences will be. He fought in wars and the damage left by them still exists as scars in the wizarding world.
Dumbledore's silence made Snape a little uncomfortable. The last time he saw Dumbledore like this is when he begged this old guy to hide the Potter family because of lily. As he grew nervous Dumbledore smiled again and said," observe the boy thoroughly Severus. See if he is willing to bond with his fellow students. See if he is any different from Tom. See if he willing to take care of his fellow students. See if he is kind or unmoving ".
Snape felt a chill, a real chill run down his spine. Whatever this old guy is planning, it definitely involves Adrian Wells in future or else he won't give instructions like this. Snape just nodded and walked out of the office while Dumbledore resumed eating lemon drops.
The next day Adrian woke up early morning and started doing some exercise, then he ran around for sometime in the grounds, then he got ready and waited for first years to arrive to the common room. He is reading a book about runes and circuits, something that's been improved along with the alchemy.
After few minutes everyone except malfoy's gang arrived. Adrian asked where is that guy's room and kicked open the door. Screams sounded from the dorm. In just 5 minutes, Malfoy and gang appeared while Adrian nodded.
He then took them to the common room while asking the prefects about the class rooms. It'll raise suspicion if he directly took them there. He will play his role as a descendant and not as the twilight wizard. This is to see the stance of Dumbledore and how far he will go with his schemes.
Under the cold and sharp gaze of Adrian, the freshman ate quickly and then followed Adrian to the Transfiguration Classroom. They arrived 15 minutes early. Beside Adrian there are two blonde girls on both sides. He looked at them and asked," Adrian Wells, your prefect. I like to know your names beautiful ladies ".
The blonde haired girl with green eyes and a mole below her left eye said," spare us the pleasantries, Wells. I'm Cassandra Vole. Don't think just because you won once doesn't mean you'll win always. I'll defeat you then I'll let everyone know that even a twilight wizard is no match for me, the only heir to house vole and that slytherin is on it's path to glory under my command ".
Adrian raised an eyebrow,' seems like she is an arrogant type and her imagination is also very wild at this age ', he turned to right as the girl said somewhat nervously," I'm Daphne Greengrass ", Cassandra said," Greengrass, why are you nervous? You're afraid of Wells or something. He will be nothing when I defeat him in future or is it you're already in love with him. Tsk, tsk, you're a proud lady of Greengrass family. Yet you cling to fear or love. I'm very concerned about the future of Greengrass family ".
Adrian looked at Daphne who looked coldly at the other girl and then turned to Cassandra who is glaoting. He thought,' this girl deserves a spanking ', he decided to later teach her a lesson for her arrogance. Adrian asked," so you plan to defeat me? And then? ".
Cassandra frowned but then said," then I'll take over the slytherin prefects then defeat them too before trying my best to bring slytherin to it's past glory ", Adrian leaned forward just inches away from her face. Cassandra blushed furiously as Adrian leaned forward, he then did something she didn't expect. He flicked her forehead, she yelped and looked at him angrily as he said," You have no idea how to even defeat me? first work on that Cassandra vole ".
He said, then turned to Daphne. She looked troubled. Adrian asked," is there something you need or something that's been bothering you Miss Greengrass? You look quite troubled ", Daphne flinched and said," Can we have a private talk after classes? ".
Adrian looked at her for a few seconds before saying," okay, after classes, meet me in the common room ", Daphne nodded. As they're talking, the door opened and a cat trotted into classroom walking to the desk before climbing up and observing them all.
