The forest wasn't particularly dense, there weren't any towering trees.
But it was winning in terms of tranquility.
Following the direction indicated by Darius Young, the two walked for about five minutes before Dirk Carter pointed to a clearing and said, "This should be it."
"How do you know?"
Maeve Winters asked.
Dirk Carter chuckled and said, "Look, the grass in other parts is standing up, while here it's lying down. Clearly, something rolls over here frequently and crushes it down."
"Just like you men."
Maeve Winters laughed, covering her mouth.
Dirk Carter was taken aback, "What do you mean?"
Maeve Winters let out a chuckle and said, "When no one rolls over they're standing, but when someone rolls over they collapse. Isn't that comparison apt?"
"That's different. We men can stand back up after rolling, but these grass clearly can't."
"Well, I'll try my best to make sure you can't stand up."
Maeve Winters giggled.
