16. "TEDDY"
I know I've been a headache lately, I've been causing you chaos and trouble, ain't been aware of my selfish actions and right again I've been wrong again but I'm gonna make it right with my actions.
You was bout ready to up and leave, we were on a right path until I drew us off the lane, you was bout one step to being my homie and a lover, giving me one lullaby at night before I sleep. We had sunset vibes after a long day, lunch dates and conversations, you was bout a step closer to being my girl, kissing and sexing but my toxic ways got in the way and I almost ruined a good thing.
It's probably already ruined but luckily I got to you before you left me, you shown me how fed up you can get with my bullshit and now that you're still here, so I'm gonna do better.
Teddy is now gonna talk to you with less disrespect now, I am gonna loosen the strings a little bit now, I'm gonna let you have your way a bit from now on, this weekend has shown you the ugliest parts of me and you was bout ready to leave. I rushed to you and changed your mind, a second chance at this, I'm gonna try to keep you from my bullshit, I promise I'm trying to be a better person.
17. "MORE"
I'm gonna need your full understanding for this conversation, I've been tryna find the right words to say, just so I can get my point across but there's no better way to say, can I have you as more than just a friend?
I love what we already got going but I want more, I talk to a couple of girls and I spend my time with different girls but it ain't nothing like this.
When I'm around you, something comes alive in me and I know that it's probably better if we stay this way but each time I am next to you, I wonder about how would it be if I had you as more than just a friend.
Conversations about deep stuff, we've already gotten to that point, hugs and company and I can't figure out a better way to say this, can I have you as more than just a friend?
Somebody I can talk to when my day isn't going well, somebody I can spend time with, somebody I can give my attention to because this running around with different girls isn't my cup of tea anymore and if I had to choose, it would be you.
Here we are, outside, having a full conversation, no interruptions or concern about anything else, looking into each other's eyes and I don't wanna stop because I love this feeling.
I wanna have it on me more & more, we don't have to name it a relationship or anything, I just wanna have you more than just a friend.
