I was staring at the vanishing figures of these two old men. Before turning around, I saw all the animals looking at me.
"What… Let's continue our party."
We went back to our camping place, beginning our party again. While I went to take a look at the boy, who was still alive, I decided to help him out, too.
And a few minutes later.
The party continued with one more person joining in. I looked at everyone, and they all seemed to only care about food. They don't have time to look at this new member.
I looked at the kid who was staring at the surroundings silently in confusion.
"Where… I'm… You…"
"Hey, currently you're in this emperor's personal garden. As for me… I don't think it's hard to guess. Hehe…"
The boy stared at me silently without uttering a word. Likely trying to digest how a mortal like him got the honour to be in front of this emperor.
