Ringo approached silently, watching the woman who was attaching the component to a... Roller Blade.
She worked quickly, fitting everything into place and soon all that remained on her desk was a pair of metallic blue Roller Blades with white stripes.
Lena smiled excitedly as she dragged her finger across the control device above her ear. The next moment, the two Roller Blades began to fold in on themselves, quickly transforming into a pair of comfortable and futuristic-looking sneakers, yet still normal enough not to attract attention.
Lena finally noticed Ringo, smiling, she picked up the sneakers and showed them to him. - They're ready!
Ringo smiled, he had been working with Lena on this pair of "sneakers" for some time. Many components had been brought from the galaxy, and Lena still couldn't build them on her own. One moment she was by his side, the next she was gliding across the field, creating sparks wherever she went, the soft hum of the engine drowned out by the wheels sliding against the smooth ground.
Lena slid not only across the floor at high speed, but at one point she began to move along the walls and even the ceiling. Ringo just watched in surprise as the girl screamed with excitement, completely bursting with energy.
But soon Lena decided to test the attacks. In the air, she jumped and her right Roller Blade began to emit a faint blue light. Before even hitting the ground, Lena made a downward kicking motion, a blue plasma blade buzzing with energy was emitted and struck the wall, creating a charred scar on the floor.
It only charged for two seconds, but the power wasn't bad.
Lena didn't stop, jumping, she began to spin in the air while beams of plasma were emitted like bullets from all sides. Some even headed towards Ringo, but he didn't move, letting them hit him, though they caused no damage except to his clothes, which were marked with burn holes.
Lena seemed oblivious, merely staring at the room filled with smoking black holes before accelerating toward a training dummy made of special alloy. With a surge of momentum, her kick struck the dummy's chest directly. For a fraction of a second, nothing happened, the next instant, the dummy exploded, sending metallic alloy flying in all directions, deformed pieces of metal still buzzing, falling like a rain of steel, the pieces still emitting a slight heat.
Lena, still with her foot in a kicking position, had a bright smile as she slowly lowered it, her excitement leaving her breathless. She laughed as she slowly skated around, finally paying attention to Ringo.
Especially his torn clothes.
Lena pressed her lips together to stifle a laugh, averting her gaze. She let out a soft chuckle as she controlled the Roller Blades to revert to Shoe shape with her mind. The device had a neural connection after all, she only needed to think about it to activate the modules, but it was still nice to ask out loud.
