Although it was a Sky Striker enemy tactical armament, out of the four pulls, Zeroy actually liked this one the most.
Because the weapon called H.A.M.P. was essentially a massive mecha.
A Gundam!
And it had a striking black-and-red color scheme—an instant mark of coolness. A beautiful girl and a giant robot—what a perfect combination. At last, she finally had it! Even if the beautiful girl in the equation was herself, it didn't matter. It meant she could personally pilot the giant robot!
When these Sky Striker armaments were drawn, they directly integrated into Zeroy's abilities. Now she could browse them in her mind, and with a single thought, manifest them. Just picturing it in her mind made her want to leap onto it. If not for the current setting, she would've summoned the giant mecha right away to experience it.
Then Zeroy suddenly remembered her Personal Space. One of the privileges of a High-Level Reincarnator: expanding Personal Space from 100 m² up to 1000 m², each square meter costing 10 Points.
She hadn't used this before. She had shaped her Personal Space into a training room, and 100 m² had been plenty. But now, she could expand it. Even without considering the mecha, her current strength made 100 m² insufficient.
After all, a full expansion would only cost 9000 Points. With nearly 800,000 Points at hand, it was trivial. Still, Zeroy restrained her excitement—she intended to plan carefully before spending.
There was still one more draw to go.
Without hesitation, Zeroy pulled again, hoping for another giant robot. After all, the Sky Strikers had more than one.
But this time—no luck.
A blue glow appeared…
[Polymerization]!
It was a card. The Spell Card [Polymerization] depicting a dragon and a fiend swirling together in a fusion vortex.
A completely baffling card!
"Why this?!"
Zeroy stared, dumbfounded, holding the card. Examining it, it was indeed the exact [Polymerization] Spell Card from Yu-Gi-Oh!, down to the familiar texture, precise details, and even an authentic holographic seal. For a moment, she almost felt she was actually dueling.
'Wait… what about my Sky Striker pool? Who the hell runs Fusion in Sky Striker?!'
'Seriously… Fusion Strikers? Really?'
'What did you stuff into my gacha?! Whose Deck is this?'
If she really brought such a Deck against actual duelists, would she just get stomped?
…No, maybe not stomped. Maybe just kicked out as a clout-chaser.
Or could it be that since her transmigration, Sky Strikers had received new cards and playstyles? No… more likely the pool ran out of Sky Striker cards, so it filled with random ones…
Either way, Zeroy felt uneasy about future draws.
As for this card's effect: in Yu-Gi-Oh!, it fuses two or more monsters to summon a stronger one. Her version seemed able to fuse any two things together, but what the fusion produced was anyone's guess.
Truly, a baffling card!
Zeroy couldn't imagine how to use it and tossed it into her Inventory to gather dust.
The draws ended.
Next came skill enhancements—
[Evil Slayer LV2] and [Nonhuman Killer LV2], both ready to upgrade, likely from accumulated experience. Each upgrade cost 30,000 Points.
Zeroy suspected the Main God was inflating costs just because she had too many Points.
—60,000 Points total.
[Evil Slayer LV3
‣ When facing targets you deem {evil}, all attributes +40%, resistances +40%, and you can perceive others' malice and sins.]
[Nonhuman Killer LV3
‣ When facing targets you deem {nonhuman}, all attributes +40%, attacks gain lifesteal and weakening effects.]
Not bad. Zeroy, who had been about to grumble, settled down. Attribute boosts doubled, and the wording on malice perception dropped "slightly." The real effectiveness remained to be seen, but it was solid enough.
What pleased her most was Nonhuman Killer's new weakening effect. Regardless of whether she could pierce defenses, any contact would weaken the enemy. Zeroy immediately saw its use—against stronger foes, she could whittle them down, even with minimal damage, until they collapsed.
Upgrading both also granted her a new skill:
[Hellfire LV1
‣ Hellfire is the embodiment of karmic retribution, flames that burn sinners in hell. It punishes evildoers and can purify hearts. The more evil karma one bears, the greater the suffering. The torment strikes at the soul itself, nearly impossible to endure or extinguish.]
An unexpected but very welcome new skill. Both by taste and function, Zeroy had been fretting over how to make pests suffer more deeply. She lacked soul- and spirit-targeting methods—this skill filled the gap. And it was Hellfire—clearly high-grade.
Zeroy had no complaints. Even if costly, it was worth it.
Then came body enhancements—
Nine rounds first, costing 18,000 Points. Counting prior enhancements, that made 20 total. Beyond that, each additional ten required 4000 Points.
So… ten more, 40,000 Points. Then another ten, 80,000. Another ten, 100,000. Beyond that? No more.
Each set of ten was a milestone, with consistent percentage boosts—20% for the first, 18% for the second, decreasing each time before the cycle reset at the next set.
But now she'd hit the limit. At 50 total enhancements, continuing required 20,000 Points per level—plus a Breath of Origin to unlock further progression.
Zeroy paused.
She was reluctant to use her Breath of Origin… it wasn't guaranteed she'd get another. And ten more would cost 200,000 Points.
Call it inflation if you like…
Staring at her drastically diminished Points, Zeroy's expression turned complicated.
