A teenager boy who just turned twenty,it's his birthday when he wakes up from his bed he takes his phone,he switches on his phone and many of his friends and relatives sent birthday wishings to him but the boy looks upset because the girl he kept at first in his life,she had not sent any message.The boy name is Kumar and he lives in a small town of odisha, sambalpur also known as the city of handlooms.Kumar took a bath and had his breakfast and after that again checks his phone for his girlfriend's message but there was no new message.So he keeps his phone on the bed and closes his eyes and remembers all the good memories he made with his girlfriend shreya.
Four years ago,when kumar was in class 11th,it was his first day to the college and when he was at the main gate of his college he first saw shreya,shreya and her best friend sonam were talking to each other and Kumar just after seeing her fell in love with her,kumar was feeling like he is fascinated towards shreya and from the day he started following shreya with a distance and after a few days make his first conversation with shreya and after that day kumar didn't looked back and shreya also fell in love with Kumar and after the first quarterly examination kumar proposed shreya and shreya happily accepted Kumar's proposal and started going out with each other,both of the families were also okay with Kumar's and Shreya's relationship and very supportive parents.Kumar's mother in a loud voice shouting for Kumar and when she enters Kumar's room,kumar says why is she shouting and gets up from his bed,his mother says that yesterday a truck crashed with a gas truck and the gas busted and the nearby places were burned the shops,houses and many more in Shreya's area.Kumar got blanked for a while and sat on his bed and says Shreya's house is just beside the main road and he tries to make phone calls on Shreya's number but her number was out of reach after attempting many times he makes call on Shreya's mother,brother and sister in law's mobile but everyone's phone was out of reach,without thinking anything kumar takes his bike's keys and opens his house main gate and hurriedly starts his bike and in full speed rushes towards Shreya's house but after reaching half the way his bike stops automatic,kumar tries to start the bike again and again but the bike was not getting started.So he parks his bike beside the road at a Parking type place and suddenly the rain starts and it was heavily raining and none of the auto drivers were ready to go,kumar was very upset and starts running towards Shreya's house,he was tired but was still running towards Shreya's house after half an hour he reaches the area and what he saw was each and every house and shops were burned collapsed and when he reaches Shreya's house,he felts down on his knees,he was broken from inside and his eyes starts crying automatically.Kumar lost all his energy to reach but what he saw was just a broken burned house he gathers some energy and there weretwo constable coming to overlook either anyone left or not.Kumar had a hope that shreya and her family might be saved.So he stands up and inquires about the people who were save from the incident,one of the constable saw kumar with an upset face and said some of victims were saved and were sent to different government hospitals.Now kumar had hope that shreya mighty be saved from the incident and switched his phone on and made a call to one of his friend but his number was also out of reach,so he makes call to his another friend named ronit and asks him to hurry up and come to shreya's house,the constable named manoj says not to stay here because the whole area was turned to dust and it was heavily raining too,kumar says one of his friend is coming to take him and Kumar sent a message to bring some petrol,money,rain coat another mobile phone and power bank with him and after half an hour ronit reaches.Kumar tells each and everything in detail and ronit says-"so,it's the worst birthday for you,right kumar".But kumar says there is a hope that shreya is safe and Kumar borrows ronit's scooty and the rest of the things he asked for and leaves ronit at the place were his bike stopped and says to give it to the garrage.While kumar was leaving ronit asks kumar-"did he knows about the incident" but kumar says i don't want any help from him and by the way he is no more my friend remember it,after saying this kumar leaves and he visits all the government hospital in sambalpur in the same rainy weather but he didn't get any clue about shreya and her family.He was going mad.He was travelling back to his house through a forest road and the scooty stops.When Kumar saw the petrol level he noticed that the petrol was finished.He takes out the preserved petrol and fills petrol in the scooty and set beside the road.He started crying and was going crazy.And he fainted on the road because he missed his two meals.A day passed, when he opens his eyes he was on his bed and his whole family had surrounded him.Kumar asks who brought him home back and when his elder brother karan tries to say,his father hurriedly says some villagers passing through the road saw you fainted and by your phone they informed us,we gave them our address and they brought you here.We called a doctor and he said that you are absolutely fit and fine but just you need is to get some rest and your mother was giving you glucose in every two hours.Kumar asks did they got any information about shreya or Shreya's family,but everyone were quite and his father Saroj says be well again and we will find shreya together.But kumar was going crazy day by day and his parents were in fear that if something happens with him,so his father says- "let send kumar to our Village his cousin,uncle and aunt will take care of him and he might be stable again." Kumar's mother agrees.Kumar and karan were send to there village.Their village is near an underdevelpoment town in sundargarh distict called bamra.
It took few days to come to normal and one of his cousin named arun says gets go to marriage reception party tonight we all are invited and they had requested to bring you otherwise we will not be allowed in the reception party karan,so please I am holding your hands.Lets go and enjoy there.But the boy was going crazy while everyone enjoying in the reception party he was having a headache due to the sound,when he was in the village,he was totally alone and away from the sound.He is not able to control himself so,he decides to went back to his cousin's house and without saying anything he just simply leaves the venue.After getting out he was thinking about shreya,there were many questions in his mind.Is shreya still alive.Kumar is having a headache again.He just ran out from the place,his face is dull,upset and tears were automatically coming out from his eyes.Suddenly after crossing tension to twelve houses,he stops at a place,he saw deemly there was a cottage,Kumar thinks he saw shreya,so he cleans his eyes and looked again towards the cottage,on another side karan who was enjoying at the party looked around but he was unable to find kumar so he called all of his cousin and asked them to find kumar, everyone were finding kumar but none found him.After that Karan asked everyone to get out of the party and find kumar,when kumar was looking for shreya,there was no-one .So.he walks towards the cottage the cottage was empty and looks like the cottage was abandoned from months.Karan sits outside the cottage and starts crying again,within five minutes karan and rest finds out kumar crying and the run towards Kumar,karan says not to cry but kumar is not in a mood to listen to anyone,karan can't see kumar crying so he decides to tell him everything.Kumar says that,shreya is no more with us,when you were unconscious,I had also visited many hospitals and at the police station also I inquired but the officers said that all the victims who survived were in hospitals and those who died there bodies were dumped because the government didn't want that the news becomes a big problem,so they decided to overcome each and every problem related to that accident.Therefore the news were also taken off from social media and news.Kumar got a big shock after hearing it,and aggresively asked his brother karan why didn't he tell everything when he came to concious.But karan said that the doctor suggested not to tell about the news otherwise you would have broken more which was not good for your health,so everyone decided to close their mouths.Kumar realised its not his family members fault,they were just protecting me.But he was also upset that his love shreya is no more now,so kumar decided to be happy not for himself but for his family and forgot shreya and returned home happily and said to his mother that he feels sorry for what happend but he can't change it instead remain happy.And all the family members had hugged kumar and started crying saying kumar finally retured himself to us.He again started going to the college,he went to the library and sat on a corner,took some old newspapers and starts finding some details about the incident but he found nothing,So he messaged a person to find out about the details and me him tomorrow,kumar closed the book and closed his eyes and remembered shreya and he started talking to himself that he made no efforts in finding shreya,Kumar promised his family that he will remain happy but the biggest nightmare was that he will loose his love of life.He went back to home with a smile on his face so that his parents remain happy for him he had his dinner and went to bed.The next the he told he is going to his college but instead went to a small hill beside budharaja temple and went to the top of the hill,joseph the one whom kumar messaged was sitting on a small rock,he was in a tensed mood and was thinking something,kumar called him and Joseph said come a sit and he took out some newspaper which are not so famous and said the government had destroyed many proofs about the gas truck incident but till now some newspaper are there who didn't changed their news and the government might not know about these newspaper because these newspaper are commonly not ready by people there for a few copies are printed by the press and also that the printing press is going on losses from four months,therefore they made a courageous dicision and printed the news so that the people reading this newspapers can increase after reading the news,but the opposite happened and none believe on the news except those he really knew about the incident but they didn't read newspapers and the printing press is also going to close this may.So,kumar says that if we collect the information and sent to the printing press then they will surely print to on there newspaper and we might find out something about shreya,Joseph was already tensed and said he can't help because he is already on something which is very important for him,Kumar asks about what had happened.Joseph says his twin brother brooklyn is missing from the day this accident occurred.Brooklyn's girlfriend and Brooklyn's friend adam,pranit and priyanshu are also missing,police officers are saying that they will find out about it but I don't believe them.So,I am also investigating and I already reached far finding the clues.Kumar said- "Why didn't you tell me about all this".Joseph replied didn't you said you don't want to see brooklyn again in your life and don't want to know anything about him after the board exams and also you were having your own problems.But I told ronit about it.If you need anything you can call me said Joseph and left from the place.Kumar remembered the night when the fight started between them and the relationship between kumar and Brooklyn started to come to an end and they never talked to each other after the fight.
