Chapter 3 - %60 imitate sucsess

"I call you to think about it one last time, Eren. Your store has almost become one of Konoha's most important business magnets. If you need money, I can lend you as much as you want on the condition that you hand over the management of the store to the village in your absence, so you can take the vacation you want sooner and know that the store will be here waiting for you when you return, but if you make hasty decisions like downsizing your store, all your years of hard work could go to waste."

"I think I have given this enough thought, Hokage-sama. When I was young I felt compelled to make money, but as time went on I realized that I didn't need so much money and that I actually preferred the quiet. Besides, the pressure I created made it almost impossible to start a business in Konoha from nothing. I realized that I was unwittingly standing in the way of my sister and Minato's legacy, the growth of the village. Even after I return from vacation, I will keep it as a smaller store so that the same consequences don't happen again. Please don't let anyone monopolize one type of product, Hokage-sama."

Even though I spoke half truths and half falsehoods during the conversation, my emotional speech about the village managed to affect Hiruzen. He approached quietly, patted me on the shoulder, turned around and disappeared in the same silence.

I think I increased my credibility with Hiruzen quite a bit when I was just trying to make an excuse, though he always trusted me more because I wasn't a ninja.

With Hiruzen's departure, I didn't hesitate any longer and immediately went to the ninja mission center, which had just opened its doors. I posted a simple class D mission to try to find some ninja to help me transport goods to the orphanage.

Because of the cost and the ease of the task, I soon had as many people as I wanted, so I told the attendant that I wanted the recipients to be at my shop at noon and left.

I then went straight to the orphanage and found the orphanage manager who was busy preparing breakfast for the children.

After a short negotiation, the woman reduced my initial offer of 50% to 25%. Fortunately, her persuasiveness must have convinced the template, as the template similarity did not decrease.

Then I returned to the shop and changed the prices of the products I would continue to sell, my face reddening as I imagined the reactions.

Meanwhile, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the tobacco I had forgotten to sell to Hiruzen.

Normally I would put a 30% profit margin after all expenses on the products I sold, and that was a pretty good amount, but trader Rekt is not the kind of person to be satisfied with that.

I didn't increase the price of my products all at once, of course, but I raised them all to 50% profit margin first.

My plan was to take some products off the shelves over time and then put them back on the shelves with an increase after a while. That way, when the Hokage asked me about it, I could pretend that the source from which I got the products was the main reason for the increase.

After thinking about it for a while, I decided that wasn't such a good idea either, because this is a fucking ninja village.

The level of my trickery would only be enough to fool ordinary people. Anbu, on the other hand, could easily figure out what I was doing with an hour of research.

After some more thought, I started to remove the labels from all the products, trying not to imagine the problems to come.

Because I love my life, I will sell my products to the ninjas of the village for only a little more money, but when I see faces in the village for the first time, I will scrape the flesh off the bones.

After a moment of silent contemplation, I decided that this plan was less risky and stopped thinking about it.

Now it was time to do the template mission.

[Template mission 2: The golden rule of trading: 1000% is the ideal profit level. When selling at least once, increase your profit level to 1000%. Tip from Trader Rekt: Big profit, takes big balls!]

[Mission duration: 20 hours]

After looking around for a while, my gaze was forced to linger on the black tobacco again.

Sighing, I laid the whole black tobacco on a hand-woven wicker basket and placed it in a prominent place in the shop. Then, with a red face, I wrote the following on a white piece of paper and hung it on the tobacco;

/Don't say we haven't heard. The legendary black tobacco of the land of volcanoes is in Konoha\

\This magnificent product will be on sale at half price for today only/

They say that in the volcano country, only those who can smoke this tobacco are true men

80,000 ryo per kg

"Maybe because I don't normally use tobacco I find the taste too bitter. Maybe it is a good tobacco. Hmph!"

When I finished convincing myself enough, I checked the system notifications that came in when I removed the prices.

[Template similarity rate +10]

■■■■■■■-------------

[Template similarity rate +5]

■■■■■■■■------------

[Template similarity rate +20]

■■■■■■■■■■■■--------

Trader Rekt must have been particularly pleased with the way I priced tobacco, which was increased by 20% in one go.

If I was his apprentice and he was with me, he would undoubtedly want to come and pat me on the head.

The percentage of similarity I had reached was already 60%. In a strange way, being Trader Rekt seemed to suit me.

As I had predicted, my store was never ending.

And my situation wasn't even that uncomfortable.

When I look at it in general, I've already inherited all his sales habits. I guess there's only one thing left to do to increase the percentage.

Actually, two things, but since there are no zombies in my world, I don't need to make my store zombie-proof.

So what I need to imitate is Trader Rekt's human relations... fuck!
